Do some of you really think that Real Madrid are going to want Pochettino....The self confessed ‘I need young players to boss around’ manager. He can’t handle our so called big names how on earth will he cut it there?!
I can understand why it was so tense but some of the moaning and groaning was so unnecessary most of the timeYeah, it was pretty quiet and tense, although livened up towards the end. The problem was we fell behind really early, and our play was so dire in the first half it was hardly surprising the stadium was quiet. We’ve seen far too many shit performances there since moving in and it’s obviously beginning to grate with the crowd.
A hammering by Liverpool will precipitate it I'd bet.
To my mind we’ve been poor since Wolves came from behind to beat us at Wembley, then the wheels have fallen off. The run to CL final just papered over the cracks.
However, I thought we would start afresh this season but it is the same crap as we’ve had since January. As I’ve said before I think it’s combination of factors and overall I’ve been more in favour of shifting out the players that don’t want to be here than the best manager we’ve had in my lifetime. However,I do think he’s lost half the dressing room and it appears players like Harry, Son, Lloris (who I thought would be pro-Poch) are not outing the ones that don’t want to be there and pulling them up which looks bad news.
That said, I’m sick of a different formation / system and personnel every week. No wonder the players look confused and timid. This rotation is bollocks, Liverpool pretty much play the same team every week and they play more games than us! Playing 3 CBs at home to Watford is ridiculous as is playing 2 holding midfielders at Colchester. These decisions are on Poch and I don’t know how he justifies it! I don’t see us winning on Tuesday and only hope we don’t get humiliated by Liverpool. I don’t expect Levy to sack Poch but I now don’t think he can turn it around.
I really hope he goes as soon as possible for everyone’s sake. I can’t see it happening though. I’m worried that this will continue for a while yet.Does anyone read Pochs quotes and see a man who wants to be here for a rebuild or is convincing at all about what he’s saying?
I think it’s so blatantly obvious he wants out.
The players want him out, everyone has lost belief in the project and the manager. They aren’t playing for him at all, his tactics are useless.
I’m actually gobsmacked more of the media haven’t turned on him and made more mention out of how shit we’ve been. You hardly see any journalists mention the poor results and performances. He certainly has the media on his side.
Poch is saying all the right things in the press, the verbal version of going through the motions, but he’s running out of excuses.
Surely Levy has to act now.

It’s tough as there is emotion connected to the good times we have had over the last few years. However it will be an absolute travesty that this group of players never lifted a trophy...an absolute fucking travesty.
so 1-0 to us thenI fear it will be really embarrassing, like record breaking, result that will be next to our name on wikipedia forever type of score. Pochettino's Spurs already in the history books as having the worst defeat in UEFA competition by any English side on home soil EVER
Personally I think Poch's status has dropped a lot in the last few months and the top clubs see him as a nearly man which is what I think he is. Not a winner but great to bring young players along. I think clubs like Utd and RM could have changed their minds about him and he's here for the long haul unless it gets even worse and Levy fires him which at the moment seems likely. They have 18 points after 9 games which is nowhere near what Perez would expect after the level of investment and couple that with the mauling they got against a PSG missing their biggest names and I think he he's under a lot pressure.
Madrid taking poch would solve Levy's big headache as to what to do now
I'm in the sceptical group, ie I'm not sure sacking Poch is the answer and I am still hopeful he will stay and put things right. The fans have a major part to play, booing the team isn't going to help. I remember when we were really shit we had excellent supporters home and away.
I feel that Poch has kinda given up and just waiting for the time when Levy fires him, ultimately I feel that Levy won't want to sack him because of the huge payout and he's possibly waiting for Real/Utd to come in for him but he's not gonna win this one especially if results and performances are just going to get worst every week. The way the players are playing this situation can't go on for much longer.
The crazy thing with the media is that they were quick to have a go after the city 2-2 game saying how awful we were and lucky to get a point, but now that the performances haven’t improved and the results are worse they’ve forgotten about it. Like they know they’d have to criticise Poch now but can’t bring themselves to do it.Does anyone read Pochs quotes and see a man who wants to be here for a rebuild or is convincing at all about what he’s saying?

Whats more shocking than the result, performance and team selection, etc, is that anybody, and there were quite a few, thought that anything else was going to happen.
I more amazed we never lost.
Levy is not, despite what some say, an idiot.
I think we'll wait until after the drubbing from Liverpool and then Poch will be gone as others have eluded to.
We cannot have a new £1b stadium trying to sell naming rights floundering around the bottom half of the table and clearly Poch has no idea how to turn this around.
To be fair with the state of mind for Eriksen, Toby, Vertonghen, Rose being shit and Lloris being out for a long while its going to be hard for anyone to get us top 4.
Positives being Arsenal, Chelsea and Man U are harsly looking world beaters themselves, they're scraping results.
Imo we need a proper defensive midfielder like Dier, Parker, Polacios, a sandro type player. Neither Winks or Sissoko can do that job properly. Disagree but the proof is in the pudding.
And we need to start making feeding Kane our top priority, and quickly not 98 passes later.
Its a shit show and no mistake.
Letting a squad get into this state amounts to incompetence frankly which is partially down to Levy and Poch for keeping players that do not want to be here. This is the result.
And that's why, if we want to win things again, we need a new manager AND new owners. ENIC demonstrably aren't here to win us trophies.Objectively is to discount our performances and look at the figures. As bad as we think we are there are only 6 teams doing any better and 13 doing worse. Levy will play his usual poker game and let everyone around him have the meltdowns.
