Then don't fucking play them. Sideline them and pick youth that will fight for you. But let's be honest, no one wants to fight for him anymore.
I wish he would drop the players he doesnt want. But he wont. He used to drop them to prove a point but that went away last year because Levy forced his hand and refused to buy or sell anyone. Toby, Jan, Rose, Eriksen, Serge, Sissoko really should not be in the team. Winks shouldnt be in the XI. It's absurd. Poch's selections and his remarks in the press do nothing to help matters but the underlying cause of all this is Levy.

You just know he'll go there, be given full backing, and accomplish what he should have accomplished here. Unfortunately our disgraceful transfer business -- whether it's Levy's fault for not spending of Poch's fault for being stubborn -- caught up with us and meant that things went to shit before he could salvage it. I don't see how he can dig his way out of the hole but you just know that by sacking him we'll be strengthening a rival and knocking ourselves down a notch. Sickening to think about.
We'll have to bite the bullet if we can get Allegri. It's starting to look like we don't have a choice at this point but we have to have somebody lined up before we get rid. It's not as if we're bottom of the league which is the one plus.

A big error of Levy's was panicking in sacking AVB after the Liverpool drubbing without an obvious replacement in mind. Sherwood made things 10x worse.

I have support poch more than most as you know but tonite was the end, I'm sorry he has to go.

Two options really 1) Sack off all our bad eggs, make do with what's left and rebuild in January/Summer 2) sack off Poch and probably still salvage this season. No idea which option is better.

I like option 1, if Poch commits fully to it. The only way that is going to be is by him signing a new contract, but there’s zero chance of that happening at this moment in time.

Sure. But Levy won't just leave. We're in the exact place as Utd.

Poch lost his balls. He should make a point as you say.

What I don't get - we played so well the first 30 minutes, surely the players were fighting for Poch then?

Option 1 is the far better option because these players will be gone anyway and are in the twilight years of their careers anyway. Option 2 is just delaying and making us worse off. We need a squad overhaul and have needed one for 2 years.

On tonight’s evidence (and that only) you have to say he’s lost it. Each sub made us worse. No shape at all. Sent us out looking much worse after half time too.

Not saying he can’t turn it around but it’s going to be very tough to win peoples confidence again. The players must be losing faith in his strategy.

Top fan fiction here, right up there with 50 Shades in the absolute bollocks stakes. Bravo.

FFS it's almost public knowledge on here that Poch outright refused all the players offered to him last summer, as he only wanted a very few select and unobtainable players. Yet you chose to ignore this completely??

Couple of thinks where I think Poch is at odds with the dressing room;

1) the Kane ht talk in Ajax, more than one player mentioned it, Poch shot it down.

2) actively trying to sell rose, then playing him ahead of Davies.

3) trying to make a point at start of season with regards Verts, which has ultimately back fired on him.

4) openly discussing the dressing room “unrest” in his press conferences

I know this is outside-looking-in but this very much seems end of the road for Poch. I think he’s lost the love and motivation for the job.

If he goes, and Levy wants to still get something out of this season, then that basically points to Maureen or Allegri. I don't see him poaching Eddie Howe. But if Levy feels like this might be a transitional season, and he has a different coach in mind, then yes, it'll be a stop-gap coach until the end of the season.

But all of that is a big IF. As no one knows what Levy is thinking tonight. Does he let Poch try to dig his way out, or pull the plug while there's still time to salvage something this season.

We'll know by tomorrow afternoon, one way or the other.
