A couple of seasons ago we’d have went on and won that game. We were so hard to beat. We’ve become a soft touch again. Teams know they can get at us and we’ll crack. Even at 2-3 up in a game, there is still a question mark hanging over us. Previously that would never have been the case under Poch.
Very sad. We went through so much to rack up that tough and steely mentality. Battle of the Bridge, some amazing comebacks, one of the best defence etc. Everything undone now.

We can’t buy 6 players in January. We need to focus on buying a good DM and a RB. We got Sessegnon at LB and we currently don’t need CB’s
Thats why I said we need a jump on it. And yes, we do need CB’s. Sadly, the Toby/Jan pairing has run its course, IMO.

Levy isn't going to sack him if we're maintaining the push for CL spots, if we are floundering in mid table say in Dec/Jan with no sign of progression then he's a goner but it's far to early to be thinking about that.

Probably should have kept up the high press tactic, instead of the saggy diamond or whatever it's called.

But hey what do I know.

Pochs best attribute is getting players to run through brick walls for him. Getting them to buy into his philosophy.

The problem he faces now is he has players that are wanting to do the opposite, a problem he hasn’t encountered whilst managing us.

He needs to stop playing Eriksen, he doesn’t want to be here, clearly. Stop playing the players he wanted rid of. He wanted rid of them for a reason and they aren’t going to be playing for the club.

Return to playing some of the youth players. I have zero idea why he played Wanyama, no one apart from him and his back room staff does, but what message does that send to the squad?

Cheer up, pick players who buy into what you want to do, and get on with it, because there’s no way we will sack him.

I have lost faith in Poch. He swings at his players in media, use weird formations and looks clueless.

One thing I don't like about him is that he never says "I got it wrong this time". Even a prick like Mourinho said he got it wrong from times to times.

2019 has been poor for us, especially away from home. Had the season started on January the 1st, we would be among the teams trying to avoid relegation. With all those teams that win the big trophies, it is the managers that get the praise for it. And if teams are losing and doing poorly, it is the manager who gets sacked. Therefore, it is difficult to not start thinking that perhaps Poch must carry the can for us underperforming in 2019. Yes, we got to the final of the CL, but that was by courtesy of VAR in the City match rather than Poch organising it.
Hopefully our season will turn around and we can continue our support of Poch. However, Heaven forbid it happens, if we finish out of the top 4 with no silverware, it appears to me that Poch's position as manager will be untenable.

I actually think the end for Poch isn’t that far away.

That the beginning of the end started Feb/March last season - when he bought in the diamond regularly and he seems to have lost the full support of the players around this time too.

I love what he’s done for the club but he’s not motivating them and tactically we’re a mess.

He’s already held clear the air talks and team meetings and were back to losing. How many more tricks of the trade are there to get us winning again?

I actually will agree with you on this but it does depend on whether the team can improve enough which I have reservations about.
We have seen leads surrendered in 3 out of 4 games arsenal, olympiacos and now today even you can't spin that into anything other than poor defending and even poorer mentality, it's one of the reasons why this club will not win anything.

This. It feels so sad. I don't think any of the players are in open revolt, it just feels as though Poch can't squeeze that extra 5% out of them any more. Whatever motivation he was providing doesn't seem to be there any more.

And in the Premier League and CL, all games are played in that 95-100% bracket.

Our players are not boys anymore; mere words from the manager might not be enough to raise them.

I'm undecided as to whether i'm in the in or out camp yet, but the one thing I really can't be sure on is who replaces him if he does get sacked. People throw out Allegri's name, but his style of football is really unexciting. Not only is he completely unproven outside of Italy, we'd be bored to tears even if we did win - I can't see us being happy with that. Who is left? Mourinho? I have no idea where I stand on him either given the last couple of years, but I can't confidently say he'd be a better option than Poch.

When you fire an employee, you need to be confident that you can hire someone who is better than him.
