On our slow start to the season its been the same each season since Poch arrived .
We seem to be like a massive ship that takes time to get going but when we do we are difficult to stop.
Mmmm we got stopped about 13 times in the league last year so it would seem it's not that difficult to stop us.
If the team are ever to challenge just say that one day it might be possible how is not being ready until say the start of October or later going to help the title cause.

Perfect example of reactionary nonsense I was talking about no offence...

Firstly comparing stats from this season where we've played 5 matches to 38 matches is just dumb, secondly we've played Arsenal and City away where traditionally we don't play well in either fixture anyway, I want to see the corresponding stats to those same fixtures from the last season to see if we're trending up or down to get a better picture.

He says that were not pressing as much which is true so why is he ignoring the Palace match where we pressed more than normal and we won?...doesn't suit the agenda does it...

This is what you call painting a negative narrative and fans lapping it up

Everything is fine then is it?

There’s a negative narrative around us because the team have caused it with their performances for over 12 months. People are being positive but you’re burying your head in the sand if you think we’ve been playing consistently well. We all have had this same conversation as recently as 3 weeks ago and before that numerous times since we started last season.

I haven’t read that article btw. Football whispers isn’t for me.

Lost the dressing room is extreme. It’s just an case of some players won’t follow him the the ends of the earth like they used to. It’s why he wanted to clear the decks, in my opinion.

He wanted a Fergie-style refresher this summer, and didn’t quite get it.

Yeah but he surely has it within his power to pick a team that is capable of working harder for him.

We know he has from his first season. What’s more than likely happened is that he still picks his favourites regardless of their form and it’s having a negative effect on the team

You might be wasting your time mate some fans think that anything said or written that they do not approve of is some sort of conspiracy theory.
They are Levy's little angels who try to spread the word that nothing is wrong and on some it works, but it doesn't work on others you incur their wrath.

We don't really do we?, last season Semi Final of the league cup and Final of the CL, the seasons prior to that we had two semi final appearances in the FA Cup, unless you mean the league then you're 100% right but that will take time - I don't expect us to challenge this season anyway - if you're reaching semi's constantly that normally suggests that you're getting close.

I reach semi’s constantly myself.

Youth and hunger was the center of Poch's early days. Quick fit feet, willingness to listen and take his direction.
If we want to stick with him there's a logic behind being more extreme in our transfer and player policy. Selling players on a high, like we could with Dier and Alli (£150-200m?), always getting new blood in. Sell high, buy potential. While also sending players that have lost it, ie Wanyama, out on loan no matter what it will cost to keep them out of the picture. As it seems Poch like every other manager will go with the name if available, like Wanyama over Skipp lately.

If that will lead to trophies, I'm not sure as many peak players usually is what wins, but it would keep a Pochettino team firing.

It won’t. Moving on past it players or ones who have become a bad influence is one thing. Selling players as they move towards their peak to replace them with potential again because the manager can’t influence them anymore is just going to keep us on a perpetual hamsters wheel.

Come on mate don't do that...

According to the media we've gone from being lucky to serial chokers in the space of 3 months or 8 matches...how can that be?, if the two statements don't contradict themselves they certainly do a lot to paint an overly negative picture about the club...Hmm I wonder why they've done that...can't because our paranoid fans are so desperate to believe their perceived notion in order to justify their negative mindset possibly...? Look the media do what they do best and dictate the narrative whether it's about the aforementioned subjects, the wage disparity, Poch leaving etc... and on our fans lap it up as if it's the gospel truth, sorry it's a load of crap.

I'm not burying my head in the sand and realise that we've got work to do and we're not playing well - I've said as much but things are always made to seem worse than they are. Where's the middle ground?, where's the need to focus on the bigger picture?, only 6 days ago they were talking about the old Spurs being back which is a load of reactionary bollocks in itself.

So sorry I'm not buying this nonsense, we've heard and read it all before and I'm not buying, it's BS.

There a two coaches I'd like to see replace Poch. Simeone - Best defensively coach out there and Thomas Tuschel.
I agree. If we get both of those two in we’ll be flying. Not sure Levy would sanction it though. ?

Okay, which one of you tossers is Matt? ????

I don’t even need to listen to it to know what it will be about. It’s what 70% of spurs fans on twitter are like I suspect. Nobs.

Ok I agree with you. There’s no middle ground is there. It’s all for tweets and hits and revenue isn’t it. Thank god for SC where 99.9% of posters aren’t like the people (gullible mugs) who call up talksport.

No no no. His in game management is totally fine (don't be that guy following the na says) Klopp Guardiola do not change formation at all and nobody says a thing. What Poch is lacking is the players to implement his tactics correctly.
So why does he use those tactics, then?
