Playing right back doesn't make you head the ball back into your own area and play them in. It doesn't make you try and take on Aubameyang in your own half.

It certainly felt like he'd been shoehorned in and in fairness did OK at times but he does things at times that make you wonder what on earth he's playing at.

Rose for their first goal has angered me more than any goal for a while. So absolutely preventable. Already on a booking because we overplayed and he does that in INJURY TIME. Fucking clear it!!!
A noob error from a senior player no less.

Come on mate £72m for s bit of pace and control - created fuck all during the game and only thing he did of note was spank it wide and over about 10 times.

I've seen him do stuff which makes me think "fuck i'd be afraid of facing that". Doesn't mean he will amount to fuck all but I can see why his price his high. Plus its way too early to tell.

Of course I hope you're right and he's a massive flop :D

We could just as well end up 2 points short and with us playing as badly as we are, I would wager on this scenario happening
Other than the first 40 mins of the second half, I thought we were much better.

We clearly are not settled and it shows on the pitch and I bet once Lo Celso, Dier, Foyth and Ndombele are all back we won't be as run over as we were in that period.

That's why it was a good result all things considered.

Final balls are developed when you are 10, not 30.

It's not the points, its the performances. They are a continuation of 9 months of dreadful league form

Only Watford and Brighton have less points than us in 2019 apparently.

You lot have seen what Aurier has on his hand right? There's no way he'd go through a NLD without it getting knocked and aggravated. I reckon we just didn't have the numbers he was put on the bench.

Under usual circumstances I would be extremely disappointed with ending a draw after being 2-0 up, but in the context of the whole game and the fact that we only had that two goal lead for 5 minutes, and we were battered for most of that second half, I'm pleased to come out with a draw.

I will say that the RB experiment of Sanchez must end here, it was similar and as ill fitting as Son at LB in the FA Cup semi final defeat to Chelsea. The only difference between the two experiments was that we paid a very heavy price for it against Chelsea, we essentially got away with it today, but that was through more luck than judgement and the fact that Arsenal weren't clinical and clever enough in exposing it and taking full advantage.

On other points, it's a mystery how Xhaka managed to escape a yellow card until the last 5 minutes when the ref was dishing out yellow cards against our players like they were going out of fashion. We saw two sides to Kane, clinical with the penalty and extremely unlucky not to score in the second half with the shot that hit the inside of the post, but I don't like to see diving whoever it is and whoever it is against. If that had been Aubameyang at the other end diving we'd be fuming about it.

To end on positives, we've been away to City and Arsenal and not lost, our counter attacking breaks in both games we looked really dangerous and effective, and I know it's early days but GLC looked good today in his little cameo appearance, and we have Ndombele to come back.

I have no idea what you are basing this on. Dier, foyth were 2nd string last year. We are tactically incohesive. We are slow going forward and disjointed at the back with no real middle to speak of. It's scary to watch us. There is no team out there I would say we are 100% sure to beat. I thought that last week and look what happened.

No. Who is saying that? They battled to keep it at 2-2 when Arsenal were on top.

There were multiple "reports" and widespread speculation that Poch had lost the dressin room.

Didn't see any evidence of that myself today. Think we are still struggling with confidence and team defensive structure but I thought the players left everything on the pitch today. Proud of the team despite the negatives.

We we're very lucky not to have lost
We were Playing cool in the first half but in the second invited them in
We kep on clearing the ball to them

He got the assist for the Lacazette goal?

His numbers in France suggest he has more than just pace and hard work to his game. May not be a £70 mill player, but I think he’s already improved them, and will only get better.

11 pens in France in a weak league, absolutely no career to speak of before last season, unable to crack the National team in the AfCon, and very pedestrian performances so far in the PL - if I were Arsenal I’d rather have Ramsey all day long.

Absolute last position they needed to strengthen and the staggered fee is enormous.

In a couple of months time (or earlier if they are all fit) I’d like to see a starting 11 like this -

Lloris
Foyth - Toby - Verts - Sess
Ndombele- GLC
Son - Eriksen - Dele
Kane

Metalhead

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Sounds spot on.
