Lots of boring AVB square passing and possession football in the second half please.
Winks, do your job.

Lamela and Rose red cards waiting to happen. Sanchez accident waiting to happen. Poch must sort that out at half time.

Would like to see Alli and GLC get some minutes to tighten us up.

Very mixed performance. Some excellent stuff from Son, Winks, Eriksen and the CBs, but some very silly challenges and some dodgy stuff from Sanchez, Rose and Sissoko.

We look brilliant on the break but have absolutely no capacity to pass it out from the back with this lineup. Real shame Ndombele isn't fit - he'd have been tailor made for this one.

Nothing less then a win will do now, from a 2-0 position and looking comfortable any kind of dropped points will be unbearable

Very annoying goal to concede but I think we've been very good on the whole.

Dropping deep to prevent the space for them to run into.

We've also been very quick and decisive going forward.

They'll be more chances for us

Spurs have not lost a NLD with Atkinson in charge
I’m surprised at that after watching him blow up every time a red shirt goes to ground. He’s buying every piece of theatrics and with a Lamela and Rose on yellows it’s a dangerous situation for us.

Just sheer naivety rearing its head once again and we gift momentum going into the second half to Arsenal.

We either need a serious tactical reshuffle or make subs because that right hand side is a car crash. That being said, I can hardly say i'm confident down the left with Danny Rose's brainfarts.

Sissoko might well have been deployed to help Sanchez but he's been atrocious and Winks has been isolated - desperately need to have bodies in the middle and to at least try and establish a platform.

Doing the correct, calm, sensible things in the split second heat of the moment often proves to be our downfall. You just cant teach it, it's inherent in people.

We're under pressure in that last moment because twice either fullback doesn't do the smart thing, play the percentages, play for territory and get it down the other end of the pitch and regroup. Sanchez is probably reluctant because he has no one really ahead of him to hit a ball down the channel to, do it anyway and bollock someone if needs be, don't get caught on the ball. Rose obviously panics about a possibly handball and his default is always to charge forward and take the game to them, it should have just been smashed over the top down the line.

It's down to individuals to manage the pressure and emotion and keep a clear head better.

To be honest even without that, and 2-0 at HT I'd still think it could be any score. They look more open at the back and liable to be caught out, but both teams predictably giving up a lot of space and time on the ball and look like they can be got at. It will be down to who is more clinical and makes the most of their moments in front of goal.

Lamela has the vision to break defence with that pass but I can't understand with Son running behind why those balls couldn't be pinged to him

Luckily their goal came just before half time or else that goal might have boosted them into more attacking action.

Aurier on for Sanchez please
agree, Sanchez caught out again Sissoko fouled trying to cover him then rose fecked it up then back with Sanchez who cleared it straight back to an arsenal player fecking comedy of errors
