When they have a corner or a freekick and it comes to nothing we should be absolutely pelting up the pitch but Hugo just rolls it out to a defender, we let them regroup and it's the same old shit all over again. I'm still confident but we seem so easy to play against when the opponent sets up like this.

What baffles me is that every Spurs fan knows that we have a real lack of invention in attack and have done for quite some time so why can Poch not sort it out?
Maybe he has hit a blind spot and just can't see the rubbish and disorganised tactical formations that has been evident for a while.
We got away with it last week maybe the luck will not serve us well today although there is still time to turn it around

Other teams like City and Liverpool seem to be able to draw out teams that sit 10 men behind the ball and not get caught so often on the break. We seem to take an age and get caught out on the counter way too much.

Only able to carve out a chance when Harry gets the cross, we need him on the end of them

We need something different, some new ideas, in training. It doesn’t have to be a new manager, but something has to change. We can’t keep blaming the players. Our squad is good, but we don’t get the most out of them. Bournemouth play better football than we do. Bournemouth!

I thought only Jenas-era we played with such indecisiveness, sideway and backward passings. This bad habit has returned since middle of last season and so far it has been a mainstay in the first three games of the season.

Did Poch not see that?! It's a bloody useless aspect of a game unless we are 3 goals up with 5 minutes to go. Not right at the beginning of the game!

The Winks / Sissoko CM experiment has failed for a 3rd game running. Too ponderous and slow in the build up which results in no movement up front. Either Kane need to play CM or Eriksen needs to come on, and i’d swap Winks for Dier seeing as he’s on a yellow and Mike Dean is ref.

It failed last season. I'm a tad flabbergasted to see us stick with it.

Gifting teams goals. It's the same fucking story now since the end of January in the league.

Sissoko is a limited footballer, why he is needed to start against Newcastle at home is beyond me.

Absolute shite, can’t remember the last time we actually played good football. It’s just run with ball for 40 yards then pass it sideways or backwards, i.e. Winks and Sissoko (both players are shite).

It’s just like the Villa game where the front three stood next to each other and offered nothing.

How can we not see, against the narrow packed defence and midfield we just aren't good enough. yet nothing changes try the same old site side to side.

Get GLC on and let's have a bit of subtlety and touch in there. Our interplay in tight areas is awful. No appreciation of space and awareness of team mates' position. So few first time balls so they are not having to do much to keep shape.

But he got an assist and goal last week.....

6 years of this turd.

Every pre season he turns into Lamessi but disappears after August. Seems its taken just 2 games this season. Every year is going to be 'his year' and its always the fucking same

Also annoys me as Poch will wait to make any changes and it just feels like we'll be wasting time in keeping things the same.

Change things now and have a whole half to go at them with a different look to us. Don't wait 15 minutes to watch us play the same shit and give us less time to turn things around.

I know we look shit but some of these comments are apocalyptic. We're missing Alli, Lo Celso, Eriksen and Ndombele - that's probably our 4 most creative players. Poch deserves some criticism for the line up but I don't think we're suddenly a terrible team.

The thing is it isnt sudden

Its been progressive over several games including last season. Whenever we go back to basics and revert to our way we originally played under Poch we look excellent

Poch is overthinking this whole adapting business

I think to a man we have played ok, but this formation is ridiculous.

What position is lamela playing, Moura?

It seems to me we have son playing of the left and Harry, lamela and moura in the same position, we are so narrow. Eriksen and lo celso need to come on for sissoko and lamela but it will never happen.

The problem we have is son, lamela, kane and Moura are all finishers we need creators. Feels like sven is in charge of spurs at the moment.

Why is KWP so slow passing the ball. Getting himself in trouble over and over again. He have many alternatives to pass but keeps on holding the ball.

Our attacking tactical play, how to construct attacks and move the ball about and where players should be in order to be able to this etc, is dismal. It's not been great at any time of Poch's reign (compared to a lot of other teams), but now with teams just bunkering down against us and a few individuals having lost their spark, it becomes even more apparent. Again today, Attacking players are largely stood in a random narrow bunch behind Newcastle players in no space. We will never break teams down like that.

Defensively it's just as bad. The press, and our compactness and making it hard for teams to play through us, continues to be way off previous standards. The goal is so soft yet again, they pick up the ball, minimal pressure, can dink it forward, where is Sanchez, where is Rose on the cover.

Eventually we might have enough pressure/territory and 'moments' to turn this around, but across the 90 minutes of general play we need to be several levels above this in all aspects.
