I think it is pretty scary that the majority of fans know are best football is played when we play 4-2-3-1, yet it took Poch 62 mins to figure it out.

30 fucking shots on goal we have had....30, we have not played well (not proper flowing football) but we have totally dominated the game. A win was no less than we deserved.

More to do with the change in formation rather than personnel. Winks was class. The move to 4231 just allowed us more space.
We looked more comfortable, suddenly the urgency went up, and Villa couldn’t cope.
Ropey first half.
Much better second half.
Still a lot of work to do, very sluggish at times, but as the game wore on we looked liked the Spurs of old. Ruthless.
Walker-Peters was good too, many thought he’d struggle, but looked good I thought. Still need to back himself going forward more.
Ndombele feeling his way into the league nicely.

Walker Peters was great today. N’dombele when fit is going to be one hell of a player, gassed today but he got a second wind after his goal. Eriksen changed the game.

We can't play the diamond, seriously we looked shit with it in the CL final, and looked shit with it today against a promoted team. Just go back to 4231 or 433.
