Well why would they care if they sold them before he's played a game here.
I don't think there is any question of Star Image selling the image rights. The problem here is that we have to come to a separate agreement with them as to what we pay them for any use of Dybala's image while he is a Tottenham player. The fact that they are currently suing Dybala for breach of contract and the fact that image rights law seems to be very different in the UK means this really is a right old mess to unravel in the next few hours. Star Image are arguing that Dybala is in breach of contract as they agreed a deal a few years ago which saw them keep the rights for 10 years which he has since allegedly broken. The 40 million being mentioned is not to purchase the rights, but the amount Star Image are suing for because they haven't been paid what they think they should have recieved in the past. Buying Dybala right now means becoming embroiled in what will be an ongoing legal dispute and having to make a deal with a company who may anyway lose their claim to the rights in the dispute

To get everything done but be foiled by some nerds in skinny jeans who manage his Instagram would be, well, rather annoying...

I'm from across the pond and just woke up.

1. I couldn't sleep all night!
2. And if I did get some sleep, every single time I had a dream about Dybala! No joke!!

God, this is so much fun. Really hope we sign him. What a experience this would be. And glad to share it with yall!

If we sign him and plan to sort out the image rights at a later date does the poor git have to play in a balaclava?

No way we're spending this amount of dosh without giving him the once-over.

Pretty sure it would be fine, as it would call in to question the legitimacy of the original medical if he was unable to pass one just one month down the line. It would be messy, but these things I assume would be covered and insured against.

HaHaHaHaHa...are you going to mow the lawns today she asks.

Might push my luck and ask her to make me a fat bacon and mushroom sarnie with a coffee...and then break the news to her gently. :coffee: :sneaky: (y)

Yes but the idea that they'd want to facilitate the move because their asset would get Premier league exposure doesn't make sense. If the move is made then his image will no longer be their asset (though there's tweets by Di Marzio that we want to sign him now and make a deal for the rights later).
