I follow him on Twitter, he's not a wind-up merchant. That being said, I haven't listened to the podcast yet, but it sounds like the @utdreport account might be jumping the gun a bit. Amoyal is apparently saying its still on but not 100% finished yet. I'll try to listen tonight if I remember.
