I sang the majority of the game in the south stand. It wasn’t quite around me except for the prat on his phone all game in front of me

I thought that young lass sung really well in the opening ceremony. At least it came across that way over the TV. I don't know what anyone was expecting from it, though? They had to cram something in like 5-10 minutes. Seeing a lot of cringe reactions, but the whole point is looking towards the future and having a school group perform was poignant to me. Also the guy who sung at the finale is only fitting to sing in the opener.

Suppose I'm in the minority.

I thought the piece before the teams came out was really good, but Glory Glory just didn't do it for me.

Super important to get that first win and great to end this recent run.

Sissoko and Davies were our best but in saying that all were fairly solid.

Due to the recent run, it seemed rather nervous in that first half however the first goal put those nerves to bed and we should have won by more in the end.

First time I have really watched Wan Bissaka. Would love him at Spurs next season.

Couldn't agree more...unpretentious and "community" spirited which is what Daniel was all about in his message. Can't afford 'over the top' celebrations with all these new signings coming in the summer time....(y)

Nah - it’s Razor Ruddock!
Aaaah, I remember Ruddock's magnificent performance at the Royal Opera House in 2003.

He sang, La Donne è Mobile, Or I'll 'Ave You, followed by Shove It Up Your Una Furtiva Lagrima. But it was his finale that really brought the audience to tears. He sang Nessun Dorma, You **** in the original Milwallese. There wasn't a dry seat in the house.

Anyone esle think the atmosphere was a bit flat considering the occasion? Very few singing around me. Main noise from the huge stand but other than that there wasn't much else. Was surprised we were so quiet for long spells and it didn't go unnoticed by the palace lot either

Agree. I used to sit south stand but am now in west. Very hard work getting the noise up

A suspiciously large number of people there seemed to not really care about spurs, just there as tourists. Not sure how that could be though

I think it's going to be the pattern for the stadium, following the way that WHL ended up - South and East will make the most noise, North will be family and West is the day-out brigade.

Attendance: 59 215,
Venue: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (London)

WTF? Who are those 2847 truants? Officially it was sold out, no?

The thst said something about this on the fighting cock podcast the other day but basically they have to leave a couple of thousand seats free until they know how they're all being used correctly or something like that. Long story short, it'll be a sell out next game as well, but the headline figure will be that bit more.
