Those veterans? Not to mention that in our FA Cup game we started Skipp, Foyth, KWP and brought Marsh and Eyoma on.
Also obviously missed a few weeks back when we only had one fit CB and our two right backs injured.Quite amusing talk from Klop. Bemoaning his three injured centre halves...and saying he looked at the Spurs bench on Tues with a full, full squad. Obviously missed our five injuries incl two centre halves and a bunch of boys on the bench.
Strangely enough I'm not sure it would be that much of a shock.Hoping for a Brighton shock win, or draw on the weekend. That'd make it very interesting.
Hope so. Although would shorten the odds on Man Shithole winning the league...Also obviously missed a few weeks back when we only had one fit CB and our two right backs injured.
Thing is that the Liverpool fans will take that up as their mantra, Spurs never get any injuries, still it's good to see the doubts are beginning to show, bottle job anyone?
It's exactly why I can never understand why mid table teams never really go for it. The Carabao is only an extra 5 games then a final. The likes of Watford should be going for it.Yep. There have been times though where we've had similar luck but failed to make the most of it. The 16-17 Europa springs to mind - it would have been our biggest trophy for a generation, and the run would have been Gent-Genk-Celta Vigo-Man Utd-Ajax. Only one big team the whole way and that was a United team under LVG who finished four places and 17 points below us. But we didn't take it seriously and fucked it up at the first hurdle. The year before that in the FA Cup our run would have been Leicester-Colchester-Crystal Palace-Reading-Watford-Man Utd. But yet again we decided we didn't care about it, put out a weakened team at home to Palace, and pretty disgracefully lost. Sometimes you get lucky with a draw and sometimes you don't, that's the nature of the cups. But the teams who do well are those who take them at least fairly seriously, don't mess up against smaller teams, and can therefore take advantage when their luck turns out to be in. If we start/keep doing that then our luck will be in at some point.

Importantly it also means that if the title doesn't look like happening we could perhaps properly try for a cup or three.Goons losing today gives a bit of breathing space for us of 7 points to 5th with a better goal difference. If we beat Utd tomorrow, then there'll be a sizeable gap of 10 points and we would have our foot almost in the draw for CL next season.
We can then start looking up rather down but a tough ask to chase down both City and Pool though you never know.
COYS......Let's beat the Mancs tomorrow and show them that they can look at Poch but not touch!!
Chance to near enough put top 4 to bed tomorrow.
Don't you mean 10 ahead of Arsenal and 13 United? It is imperative that we don't lose tomorrow. 8 points in front of those shites and 10 in front of United would be a very healthy way to finish the weekend.
