So the only players in squad of 25 who are not full internationals are Vorm, KWP, N'Koudou and Llorente
I thought Llorente has repped for Spain
Maybe because he's had thousands of his own team's fans taking the piss out of him and groaning in the stadium whenever he plays for the last two years....?He maybe playing well at the moment but he has previously been rubbish. Hardly looked like a professional footballer and a complete mystery as to how he has played so often for France. Perhaps with him it is a confidence thing and we are now seeing his real qualities ? Not sure through if it is confidence why he has been so poor until now since joining from the barcodes. Why has he lacked self confidence for so long ?

If you’re at the matches, you, along with many others, are a dreadful waste of a seat that could go to good supporter. Seriously, what the fuck is this? Other than after the final whistle of a genuinely horrendous collective performance, when is it ever acceptable to get on players’ backs? The answer is never. If you disagree you shouldn’t be allowed within a mile of the ground on matchdays. He deserved to have the piss taken out of him for earning so much and playing so poorly until now. He couldn't control a ball and got a nosebleed every time he got anywhere near the opposition penalty area. Dreadful waste of money until now and we were a laughing stock for buying him.
Exactly. Supporters: the clue is in the nameIf you’re at the matches, you, along with many others, are a dreadful waste of a seat that could go to good supporter. Seriously, what the fuck is this? I'm not sure you can really call this "humble pie" since you're essentially caveating your post with the chance to say "I told you so" if his form dips again. He recently has clearly been a lot better than he has for the rest of his spurs career and this i can only assume that he is a huge confidence player. But im not getting carried away with it for 2 reasons,
1. he has appeared in around 100 spurs games and has 1 league cup goal to show for it. thats a crap stat for any midfielder who can drive forward like he can.
2. when everyone is fit he isnt going to start and will spend a fair bit of time on the bench or possibly not in the matchday squad, so how will this effect him. hopefully not negatively but im not convinced.
Im glad he has finally started to show a bit of form for us and long may it continue. As playing like he is, hes a good squad option to have to come in when playing games thick and fast.
I've been his biggest critic in the past, so for me to give him any praise is very much eating humble pie and something i never thought i would see with him in a spurs shirt. Fair play to the blokes attitude.

Holy shit, we finally agree on something.Giving a few 7 out of 10 performances less regularly than Jenas infamously did doesn't really make him any less of a poor signing tbh. I know he didn't set the price or specifically ask for the wage, but we've not gotten value for money from his transfer.
Hopefully his turn of form generates some interest in him as I don't think he's a good enough player, even for the squad.
Six months ago I'd have probably agreed with this, but no way could I do so now. He's probably deserving of starting right now, let alone being a mere squad player.Hopefully his turn of form generates some interest in him as I don't think he's a good enough player, even for the squad.
