I think it’s fair to say we’re not looking to offload Lucas Moura
Agree, considering his game time with PSG last year I thought he was class when he did get a chance

Just been reading a similar argument where it was pointed out that sell-ons and add-ons are, historically, actually all the hallmarks of a levy deal.
I thought we 'bought' the sell on for about 3m quid when they were struggling financially?Add ons 100%, Installments 100%, but I'd have thought after the close call with Bale (we somehow traded a sell on clause for young GK Tommy Forecast) I'd have thought he'd be wary of that.

Wouldn't say it was a close call - more fortuitous.
If levy could buy another play for £14m and sell him for £90m, I'm sure he wouldn't mind a 10% sell on again. Willing to bet Moura has one
Everywhere else is saying 3m quid, not sure a youth goalkeeper would add much value tbh, especially back then.Per Sky Sports
When they sold Bale to Tottenham in 2007, they inserted a sell-on clause believed to be 15% of any future transfer fee.
However, when they found themselves in financial difficulty, Southampton waived that clause and agreed to receive around £1.5million plus Spurs youth keeper Tommy Forecast.
Forecast never made an appearance for Southampton and is currently without a club.

Oh they definitely dropped a bollock there, but that 2-3m quid may well have kept them in existence.I always thought that was the story, maybe it's been retold over time to spare SCBCs blushes.
Some people are worried where he'd fit in.
Zaha, Eriksen, Kane, Moura, Son, Lamela, Alli.
There are 4 competitions. It'll be needed.
Fuck it, sell them all and buy the planet MarsMinus Zaha that whole forward line cost about £90m. I wonder how much it would cost someone now
£670-680m?Minus Zaha that whole forward line cost about £90m. I wonder how much it would cost someone now
That's about £60 million + add ons. Zaha isn't worth anywhere near that.I think 50 + add-ons, in addition to a player heading the opposite way (GKN?) would be a fair deal
So earlier we were all feeling very positive about the Zaha ITK - I know I was anyway. Now that we know that shitty Sun article is all Pablo was talking about (pretty sure it was established he works there), really all we've heard on Zaha today is Herc saying 'Zaha isn't dead.'
Not looking quite so positive.
