Oh ok, I inferred from the interview that his agent was the only person who knew. My mistake.Mate, I hope you are not in that area anymore. The club was very aware, as was the players.
Thank you sir. Now we just have to figure out that right side...Like @dtxspurs posts, he was quality against Leicester and that’s what we missed last season
Depression aside, he sounds pretty down on the club as a whole in his latest quotes. Such a shame from a player who appeared to love playing for Spurs more than anyone else before his injury and The Sun interview.
Probably best for all concerned if he moves on this summer.
I'm very sorry to hear that you struggled with those issues. I've also dealt with depression and anxiety for most of my life. It's not fun in the slightest and can be crippling. Seeing my teenage son exhibit some of the same issues is hugely worrying, as it would be for any parent. So, we talk about these things a lot in my home and with counselors too. I hope that Danny is surrounded by those that give him confidence and fill his heart with love and hope.I know from experience it doesn't always work like that. I attempted suicide twice as a younger man before anyone else was aware I had some issues. Everyone is different of course but there was, and still is, a huge stigma attached to mental illness, especially in young men who should be man enough to "get over it". It's easy to bottle things up and not let on you have problems.
Now Danny Rose has gone public on his depression, and family issues, which some of us knew. Let it be a LESSON when you are getting hints to ‘lay off’ to understand!...
Danny rose says in the interview he was fined though.Regardless of the media BS, he was not fined.
Because of Poch, who offered a lot of support, and was aware of the interview.
T
If people were being rude I could understand but it wasn’t literally people just having different opinions
"Things were said and things happened behind the scenes at my club, and I don't want to go into any detail because I'll end up being fined again.”
Rose might still love ‘the club’ in an abstract sense, but he doesn’t sound too pleased with the way he’s been treated by the people who run it.
You were calling him a fat selfish prick, saying he should fuck off etc. How is that not being rude?
That was months ago and I probably regret saying those things, especially after what has come out, but at that point Danny had just come out days before our season started and said some very disrespectful things/potentially jeopardised the start to our season for no apparent reason except pushing a move. Yes maybe hercs knew something but what do people expect us to do? Never criticise anyone on the off chance their depressed?
This is about the other day when I made a really tame joke about Danny saying he wanted to go up north but not to everton and hercs started telling people to just “lay off” without really saying why.
Fair enough. Didn't mean to offend. We all just move on I guess.
