There's a lot of money going on Mayfield to be the first pick today. Adam Schefter think it'll be him.Darnold
Barkley
Mayfield
Chubb
1st 4 picks imo
Gone for Baker Mayfield to be the number one pick at 5/1.
IDK if they'll take a pass rusher. I've got them taking Vander Esch. Thanks Cleveland.
Now Pittsburgh draft someone who'll drop Mayfield on his arse repeatedly.

Love Fitzpatrick. He reminds me a little of Ed Reed. He's notorious for watching tons of film just like Reed used to do.Happy with the Dolphins pick. Would have liked Roquan Smith but it was unlikely he was going to drop to us.
For what it's worth, all jokes aside, the whole Mayfield thing could really go either way. Yes the behavioral stuff both on and off the field doesn't exactly warm him to people but the Manziel comparisons are a bit unfair. Manziel didn't want to put the work in and thought that because he was big-time in high school and college meant he could just show up to games and dominate without trying, which didn't work out for him. Mayfield is by all accounts a complete football nerd behind the scenes. He supposedly spends hours going over tape and is prepared to put the work in to make it to the top.
If he can keep himself out of trouble then his self-assurance and determination to win could be just what the organization needs to fire them up. He doesn't strike me as someone who's going to sit on the bench and accept mediocrity from his teammates. He'll want to be right in the middle of things leading by example and could drag the the team up kicking and screaming. It takes a certain amount of balls to come in as a kid and be the team leader over guys who are 7 or 8 years older than you, and he's got balls in abundance. It'll be interesting to see which way it plays out.
Passing up on Tremaine Edwards - a major need at ILB - for Miller is a real headscratcher from the Raiders front office again, especially after trading down.
Interesting to see how Martavis Bryant fits in alongside Jordy Nelson and Cooper as our receiving corp this year though.
Mike Silver (reporter for the NFL Network) said they would have picked Miller even if they didn't trade down, so at least you got Bryant with him. He thinks they'll go for another one in the second round.Passing up on Tremaine Edwards - a major need at ILB - for Miller is a real headscratcher from the Raiders front office again, especially after trading down.
