You were right and we were wrong.I mean Llorente was a stupid purchase.
I said it was wrong from the start.
I shan't.You were right and we were wrong.
Now move along.
Bing bang bong.
Considering Toby has been out since November with a frigging Hammy I’m not optimistic that we’ll see Kane again this season.
You and Sergio Ramos.I shan't.
I agree with the general sentiment - but I think we will look more like Liverpool's front four in Kane's absence. Not sure I see a starring role for Llorente, maybe a few cameo appearances.I reckon we ought to write him off for the season, if he makes it back at all we've got a bonus.
What that means is that we will need to utilise Llorente so we need to work on training to suit his game.
Yeah this is one reason why it was really important to bring in Moura.I don’t see his as huge problem. Son plays up front, more minutes for Lamela/Moura. Kane gets a much needed rest.
Unfortunately those games are crucial ones thoughDamn...at least 4 weeks then.
I guess it could have been much worse. Might only miss 2 or 3 games?
We need Kane v Chelsea City. He holds the ball up when we're under pressure, not sure Son can provide this to be honest, hopefully proved wrongI don’t see his as huge problem. Son plays up front, more minutes for Lamela/Moura. Kane gets a much needed rest.

Yep, he’s probably faked injury as he thought he was going to get dropped...Look... We’re going to be so good in his absence with our new fluid and interchanging front 3, that Kane won’t even get back into the team when he’s fit.

The Liverpool front four aren't good at holding a lead towards the end of a game, I feel like I am making the case for Llorente even though I never wanted him years ago when most people did, however, there may be times when a target man like him up front could help retain possession when we are trying to hold a lead.I agree with the general sentiment - but I think we will look more like Liverpool's front four in Kane's absence. I think your posts give you your own answer - Llorente will come on late to help hold leads. The Liverpool front four aren't good at holding a lead towards the end of a game, I feel like I am making the case for Llorente even though I never wanted him years ago when most people did, however, there may be times when a target man like him up front could help retain possession when we are trying to hold a lead.
Returning to my original post my basic point was that we need to plan for the rest of the season without Harry.
Not a dig at you, but I honestly think the position is basically meaningless, aside from it being nice for the player in question.I do wonder how this injury impacts Southgate's decision on the permanent Captain for England.
Will he make the decision now, or wait until this summer?
