Indeed. Are you in Palmerston North, Barmy?
Lived in Margaret Street but count myself as an Ashhurst man. Taught at Massey for years. What about you?Indeed.
Hahaha used to live on Weston ave (parents still do) now live on rainforth. Went to Massey got a degree. Now work at Pak'n Save. Which isn't as bad as it sounds.Lived in Margaret Street but count myself as an Ashhurst man. Taught at Massey for years. What about you?
What degree did you do? The big White House in Margaret Street used to be a girls' home. I was the last Principal. Lived next door in number 21. Does the Princess Tavern still exist? My old watering hole.Hahaha used to live on Weston ave (parents still do) now live on rainforth. Went to Massey got a degree. Now work at Pak'n Save. Which isn't as bad as it sounds.
It shut down for about 6-7 years, reopened just before Christmas. What degree did you do? The big White House in Margaret Street used to be a girls' home. I was the last Principal. Lived next door in number 21. Does the Princess Tavern still exist? My old watering hole.
Was going to, but can't make it. Should be a good night.Anyone going to see Clive Allen in Auckland?
I'm 50/50 at the moment. You going?Anyone going to see Clive Allen in Auckland?
Yeah, was going to Auckland to see The National and LCD Soundsystem, LCD cancelled so I figured I’d go see Clive Allen instead.
Well I hope he appreciates All My Friends when I shout it out to him.To be fair his cover of Bloodbuzz Ohio is fucking awesome.
I was glad I came up for it, I thought it was great, I hadn’t been to any KiwiSpurs events before but met a lot of great and interesting people and I thought Clive was a great story teller and it was really well organized.Thoughts from those who went?
I really enjoyed it and thought he spoke really well. Some good insights to things that go on behind the scenes at the club. Also, interesting tid bit on Thomas Lemar stuffing us around with Arsenal.
Hard to remember too much else, as I'd had a fair few at the Waiheke 7s tournament in the afternoon...
We're seriously considering moving to NZ, especially if the orange panda gets re-elected . I moved here from the UK 30 years ago, time to move on. I last was in NZ back '90 with the band Snap! I really enjoyed being there, loved every minute so time to go back, permanently (once covid has been defeated of course).
as in ‘rhythm is a dancer’ snap?
It's awesome mate. So, are in the UK at the moment?Correct.
