They also brought on two other teenagers second half.
willock(18) started for arsenal and they also brought on nelson(18), sheaf(19) and dasilva(19) - though the last only came on in stoppage time. chelsea have ampadu(17), hudson-odoi(17) and sterling(18) in their squad tomorrow.
maitland-niles has also started arsenal's last two league games as well as all of their europa matches, onomah starts ahead of him for england.
Yet for some reason the clubs who are giving their youth players a chance covet our youngster and we fight to keep them hereIt really is strange how we seem to be struggling to integrate our youth all of a sudden, I hate critising Pochettino but even West Ham played Rice and Quna tonight who are both 18, Foden came on against us in the league and he's 17.
Youth players seem to be popping up all over the place right now, even Mourinho is giving Mctominay minutes, though he is 21.
To be fair to Poch, he is playing Winks most weeks, it's just sad when you realise young kids will be looking at Arsenal and City thinking that is the best option. Just a few games for KWP and Edwards and that doesn't happen.
It really is odd, unless we are massivley overating our players.

I am, I suspect, like most people on this thread passionate about Spurs developing their own young players and for these youngsters to be given as many first team opportunities as possible. Unfortunately I look at the current potential first teamers and can say that I am not too convinced they are ready or even good enough. So here is the list of immediate potential first teamers ( I hope we all agree) : - Kyle Walker-Peters, Josh Onomah, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Anthony Georgiou, Marcus Edwards, Kaiziah Sterling, Tashan Oakley-Boothe, Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga. Firstly Kyle W-P is my favourite player who I loved watching at Youth level and at the World Cup U20 finals. He I believe is the closest to first team football but probably has the hardest route to take with 4 very experienced full internationals in front of him (Aurier, Trippier, Rose and Davies) .Is he better than these ? I think not (at present) so I would love to see him kick on out on loan with a good Championship side. Josh and Cameron are out on loan but again they are just not quite there. Josh has huge potential but I feel he is best served on loan (with perhaps not Aston Villa). The next closest prospect is Marcus Edwards. A player so highly debated on this site but in all the games I have seen him play I do not think he is ready both physically or possessing the right attitude for first team football (which I hope will come with time). Georgiou has been injury plagued so at the present moment is not really in contention. The other four I mention I have very high hopes for especially Skipp and a personal favourite Tanganga but are just not ready. Maybe in a years time my thoughts may change as these players develop (of which I hope they all do) then watch out we could be deluged with a wonderful crop of youngsters able to play first team football. I am also fully aware that there are others players not mentioned who could really make an impression such as Keanan Bennetts, Nick Tsaroulla (if recovered fully), Sammy Shashoua and Brooklyn Lyons-Foster. All I ask is a little patience.
