Sorry if already posted, but I've just seen this
Should he have started against Chelsea instead of Trippier?
I'm likely being exceedingly dense, but does a 3 year deal for a 20-year-old sound a bit on the short side? Would maybe have expected a 5 year deal for a highly rated youngster who's no longer a scholar with a limit to the length of their contract... but then I am usually clueless about most things.
Anyone able to set me right?
Perhaps the clubs still not 100% that he'll cut the mustard, looks very promising so far but still to be really tested in the PL.I'm likely being exceedingly dense, but does a 3 year deal for a 20-year-old sound a bit on the short side? 3 years is short. My guess is that he's had the terms of his contract amended but not an extension.I'm likely being exceedingly dense, but does a 3 year deal for a 20-year-old sound a bit on the short side? Based on Poch's quotes about CCV and Onomah - I would not expect KWP to go anywhere. He will stay here and force the club to make a decision next summer. If we do bring in another senior RB, would people want KWP loaned out?
he could go somewhere and play every week, and if he looks the goods (and our new RB settles in) then Trippier might surplus to requirements this time next year.
The last contract (that he signed 6 months ago) was due to end 2019.3 years is short. My guess is that he's had the terms of his contract amended but not an extension.
i missed those quotes, did he talk about why they were loaned out?Based on Poch's quotes about CCV and Onomah - I would not expect KWP to go anywhere. He will stay here and force the club to make a decision next summer.
Poch talked about a 2 year rule. He would like his young player training with the 1st team but after 2 years they need to be loaned out to play games if they haven't broken into the first team.i missed those quotes, did he talk about why they were loaned out?
Rose will be gone so I’m happy about this.Looked very good for the England U-21s tonight.
Composed, positionally aware, good on the break, very encouraging. Great attitude too, and looks so mature in the way he plays. Played LB by the way.

Would you say he’s better on the left or right?
Congratulations KWP. Makes impressive debut, Sky MOTM away from home, here's your reward:
