As far as the first point, being a squad player at Barca is not a great football shame. However, I totally agree with your second point. I was never impressed with him at Valencia prior and always wondered why they were hyping him for a 45M transfer. Then I realized Jorge Mendes was his agent. A quick glance on transfermarkt shows that Gestifute is still his agent so this will not be happening. Typically the press don't link us to their clients even in the fake news.Struggled at Barca.never been impressed tbh. Big no from me
Indeed he is. Gestifute is Mendes' Agency. Have you peeked at how all the Mendes clients have done recently? Gomes, Joao Mario, Sanches, James, etc. All gone for big money and not justified it. Only Cristiano has and Silva looks like he might. Mendes' star seems to be dimming. In Portugal, Sporting will not do business with him.Is he not a Mendes client?
Just assuming because he's a well known Portuguese client and he came from Valencia and both of those things would hint he's a Mendes client.
Agreed. He gets into clubs like Valencia and recently Wolves and gets them to purchase his players at much higher fees than what they're worth.Indeed he is. Gestifute is Mendes' Agency. Tottenham and West Ham ready for deadline day tug-of-war over Barcelona star Andre Gomes
The midfielder is open to a Premier League switch with Pochettino keen and the Hammers frustrated by William Carvalho
Tottenham and West Ham are involved in a deadline day tug of war over Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes.
The Hammers have made an audacious loan move for the 24-year-old Portuguese after growing frustrated in their pursuit of Sporting’s William Carvalho.
Mauricio Pochettino is keen, however, with Gomes open to a switch to the Premier League.
The Spurs boss is looking to strengthen his midfield options ahead of the north Londoners’ return to the Champions League where Real Madrid and Dortmund lie in wait in their group.
Barcelona want an expensive loan fee for Gomes but are willing to sanction his temporary departure ahead of the transfer deadline.
Having made only 17 appearances for the Spanish giants last season. Gomes is not in the plans of new coach Ernesto Valverde and is ready to quit the Nou Camp in search of regular first team action.
Has been bad for them. But Enrique havent helped him much either - playing him all of a sudden in big games , not helping him settleGets booed when playing for Barca watch Barca quite a lot and have to say he is shocking
