This may seem to be an obvious answer for a lot of people. Sissoko is our joint record signing, and hasn't made anywhere near the impact that one would hope for a £30 million pound player.
However, has he had a fair shot?
Fans often talk about how difficult it is to adapt to Pochettino's style of play, and that it's essential that players get a good pre season, and are given a season to integrate into the team.
Yet we have all (including myself) seemed to have written this guy off after a handful of starts and subs appearances.
People aren't just writing the guy off either, many seem desperate to get rid of him, even though we will likely lose a lot of money on the transfer.
He hasn't been disruptive to the squad (like Adebayor or Kaboul for example) and usually when a player doesn't pull his weight, Poch freezes them out completely. So he must have been putting him on the bench for a reason.
So even though he's been dross, should we all just be patient and give the guy a chance?
