Probably too early for N'Kodou to start, but play Son on the left and Janssen up front and I'd be happy with the rest of that team.

Just thinking about the plastic pitch tbh and chasing run away balls and thru balls. Speed could be key

I would field all black players and when they get abused walk the whole team off and win by default. Technical victories are the best.

Actually, fuck it. I loved the freedom Eriksen had yesterday, dropping a bit deeper.

  • If Rose doesn't make it, Davies in,

  • If Dier doesn't make it, Trippier on the bench.
  • If Dembele doesn't make it, Alli in with Onomah on the bench.

I know this won't be a popular opinion but I think we should play the reserves and the kids. Our next match against Man City could be the title decider at the end of the season (optimistic I know) or the difference between finishing in the top 4 or not. With the 2 Manc teams, Liverpool, Arsenal, possibly Chelsea, and us in top 4 contention we just can't afford to take the risk of dropping premiership points by fielding a tired 1st team or getting important players crocked on a plastic pitch.

This doesn't mean giving up on the CL. Our B team performed excellently in midweek and are more than capable of getting a result. It would be great experience for Winks, Onomah, CCV and co. Even if we lose I am confident we would still qualify from our group.

We lost the opening game inspite of putting our strongest team, had the best support etc...

I dont think we need to field a complete kids lineup.

Players who defintely need some rest are Son, Walker & Davies IMO. We need full backs fit for City. If Rose will be available for City, then I would play Davies on Tuesday. Trippier for Walker at Moscow is not end of the world. Neither is Wimmer for Vertonghen. Vertonghen too needs a break for big game.

Lamela can make way for Son and Sissoko can make way for Nkoudou.

Next the key question is Dier & Dembele. Are they fit to face City ? If so, should they be risked for Moscow ? Or does young Winks deserve a chance - given he has been brilliant in all the game he played for us this season.

Just because there will be 4 or 5 changes, doesnt mean we are putting a weak team.

But its the CL dude, so we put our strongest side no matter what.

I am actually staggered by some posts on here... likes of CCV or Winks et al... we should not risk anything in these games.
