hertyid is very rarely wrong, as is the fox. be very happy with md in early/asap and to get what levy/poch wanted for townsend.

still leaves us room for a late insanity wheelbarrow run if levy fancies it haha.

Me too. That was a cunning stunt A&C, I think I got that right but spell check kept changing it.

I have dusted off the pension and £20 on it's way before Osborne takes the rest in April.

Glad we are not going after SD if itk is spot on. I think he would be a disruptive influence and not what we want we have a steady dressing room and all the players look happy and content. Looking forward to the chant there's only one Moussa.......err hmm

That's some good ITK, hope it's true. Townsend is frustrating to watch, but I do really like him... but that is a good price and it seems like it's for the best.

When we got Son instead IMO. Similar player but better

Don't agree. Son's goal scoring instincts have disappointed me a bit so far if I'm being honest, although it's his first season so I'll reserve judgement fully until next season.

Berahino is not an ideal number 9, but would do a far better job up there than Son imo.

Anyway, if we lost interest in SB when we bought Son, what were the 3 bids on deadline day? Just for a laugh?

Imo it really doesn't do the club any good to be talking like we are desperate for SB. If we read all the other ITK threads then others sure as hell read ours. Smoke screens, cloak and daggers and all that stuff come to mind. I cannot see how we are really interested 6 months ago and then we are really not anymore - especially for potentially half or three quarters the money. I'll donate some more if we don't sign him.

People need to read a bit more about Son's foot condition. It's something that can hamper you for up to a year. He's an exceptional player, a prolific goalscorer, and we've only seen glimpses so far.

I believe the theory that we were only going for Berahino as well as Son when we were expecting Lamela to leave.

Very true. Who's to say he doesn't hit the ground running. He is playing in a poor Fulham side. Though my work Fulham mate tells me he got dropped last week for being too lazy....

Dembele has also already played (a few games) in the EPL during 2013/14 season

He is saving his energy for Poch's double training sessions. The kid is smart

He is compared to Defoe for plenty of other reasons than height. One of them being that Berahino himself actually wants to be compared to Defoe. So maybe we should stop shooting down the comparison. Just saying.

id be interested to see the quote where he says he wants to be seen like Defoe... hopefully its not his ability to stay onside...

I'm just hoping we get a striker in, as it will help cover an injury to Kane, but more so it will help cover the cost of the SC forum more.

with the transfer window, and ITK being so quiet this year, there seems to be a lot less posting on this thread this January. that equals less bodies visiting and might mean those that usually would chuck a few quid in here or there, are not doing so.

Incredible how on the pitch he looks 5'6".

I worry a bit about his attitude. He won't be first choice up front, how will he respond to that should he come to Spurs?

Posh has already said he likes his attackers to be able to play in multiple positions allowing for a fluid attack.
SB will start plenty of games, maybe not up top, but he will play the wide forward role a lot... and when Harry needs a rest he will play up front (e.g. europe, cup games etc)... he will get plenty of action

“He’s got good feet and is going to be a great asset for the club. He’s an unbelievable finisher. I call him ‘Defoe’ because that’s how he is. He loves it. He calls himself Defoe now."

"He calls himself ‘Defoe’. He follows him on Instagram and he thinks he’s Defoe!"

"I love watching Jermain Defoe," Berahino said.

Don't know why people wait for the transfer window to donate. Just set up a pay pal account of £2 a month job done.
