I think the three Gards' is referring to correspond with what Matt Law wrote in the Telegraph. Schneiderlin, Musacchio and one of Rodriguez or Depay.

My guess is that these are the only deals Poch wants and anything else (i.e. Remy) will be something Levy just couldn't help himself too.
Matt Law knows nothing. Just seems to jump on the bandwagon and take a few guesses.

I agree with this to a point, but the overwelming likelihood is that the moustachioed one will need a season to get to grips with the PL and brush up on English to communicate with his fellow defenders.

The beauty of Schneiderlin is that he is ready to go out of the box, knows and has peformed well in the league, knows the system and boss, he'd just give us an instant boost in the engine room.

Maybe, but you can't really be categorical. Jan seemed to slot straight in as if he'd been playing in the EPL forever, Demichelis struggled a bit initially but settled in better and more quickly than most realise, Kaboul really did struggle. It's not easy to predict.

Don't want to go against Gards, but I'm still hearing that J-Rod is the one Poch wants, and he'd rather wait to get him (even if that means January)than fill the gap with any of the other options thay may have been considered.
If Rodriguez is the man Poch wants then we shouldn't foist another player on him for the sake of it.

dan_raven89 @ gards44 considering I'm not a knob and won't say initials I'm hoping for Schneiderlin, mussachio and depay. Much chance of any?

gards44 @dan_raven89 yes mate

Side note - he may not be a knob but he is definitely a grown man ffs!!!

Apart from anything else, I still expect it to be Remy and not Depay. Dream on guys but let's be realistic.

Just to clarify on Schneiderlin its Southampton's time line not Levy mucking about. If they get players in we still expect this to be done, but will be one of the later deals.

To be honest I hope that's the case. Think Rodriquez would be a brillant buy and I love the info on him being an ultra hard worker etc...no wonder he was so effective in Poch's system at Southampton.

Depay, 15 million? Not for me.

Hope we wait for Rodriguez, allowing him to prove his fitness, and pump all our funds into getting Schneiderlin and Musacchio this window.

I'm assuming then mate that this is what MS is being told, ie "if we get replacements in you can go"?

Another point on this is that Poch himself asked him not to sign anything new with Saints(which I posted a while back on COYS). Would not be good to get him to snub his new contract and then sign someone else.

I'd only assume we would look to bring in a Remy or Depay unless we had an offer too good to turn down right this minute with Chadli.

Who knows, maybe this is intertwined with the Schneiderlin deal.

I've been working on this basis since they put the block on him so it's good to see it from someone with more knowledge than me, cheers Grey Fox.

Fuck sake. Been at hospital as my old dear had a heart attack this afternoon. Missed all the juicy ITK chat.

Me and 2 of my brothers must have spent an hour talking about Spurs formations, players etc whilst mum just laid there listening, the poor cow!

Things are juice nine up quite nicely for a typically spurs'y final deadline day!
