So I see A&C finally took my advice and let The Goat come out of its pen for some fresh air for a bit. That bought you at least 3 weeks from Animal Control, A&C. The Goat was getting angry.

I'm certain we'll have 5 CBs next season. It was the second biggest squad error last season to agree to AVB's preference to only having 4. (the biggest obviously being only having Danny Rose as LB)

It may be hard to give game time to all 5, which is why having an older, experienced head who knows they won't play much as that 5th choice makes sense. Gallas played the role well. And even Nelsen made sense in that regard (if no others).
I imagine Fryers will be 5th.

I was thinking maybe LB/CB, seems he can play both
But I don't think he would come to be 2nd choice LB & 5th choice CB and I don't want any of our starting back 4 to be back up for another positions, as it means when we have an injury and the player in the back 4 fills in we are weakened in 2 positions.

Is he really ready to be a starter in either position in the PL? I don't know, can't say I watch Sporting these days. I guess if he continues having a good WC he'll have a number of options, but maybe the chance of a move to the PL, better wages etc would interest him, especially if he feels he'll have a fair chance at competing for a starting place

Liverpool and Barca are allegedly after him, so i think we would have to offer him a place in the starting 11 to compete with them.

Would be better off using him as a CB from what i have seen.

He is clearly talented....but out on the left it is similar to Jan in that he is capable of putting in a shift but seems much, much more comfortable in the middle of the pitch.

As long as he isn't a moody miserable little shit like Jan then we should be ok.

Was not aware they were looking at him. If that's the case, you're absolutely right we'd have to promise him first choice to have a chance. I for one, would not vote in support of that over Moreno as I'd like for us to have at least four senior dedicated CB's for a Poch system.

We could send him a DVD of our thrashings last season, no?

Getting the players to autograph them might just swing it, I understand Danny Rose's autograph is highly prized in Argentina, apparently it has a rarity value

To be fair jan gained some respect back from me yesterday when asked by a reporter what playing in the maracana compared to and he said "White Hart Lane, it's a fantastic atmosphere" he wasn't taking the mick either. I wish people would stop saying Caulker is a better option than ones we have. If he was am sure he would have been attracting alot more interest!

To those who are saying it isn't 'exciting ITK' etc etc, i've taken your comments on board and will, in future, dress the ITK up with a few knife fights, a series of large explosions, some base jumping on a tricycle, a car chase, an earthquake scene, some gravity defying stunts, an erupting volcano, Roger Moore's raised eyebrow and a muscle bound yokel in a bandana rampaging through the jungles of SE Asia armed with a machete and a great big fuckoff machine gun. I can only apologise and tell you that we'll try to do better.

To the very, very few of you who have taken it as it is, along with the realisation that although it isn't much, its maybe a sign that things are picking up, I salute you.
can we also have Lee Majors jumping off a building into the back of a jeep? i'd like that.
