I cant remember the last time i saw so many aimlessly floated cross into the box. Every single attack we would get into a good position then float a ball into the box hoping Ade would get on the end. Arsenal where there for the taking. Todays performance reminded me a lot of the latter part of the AVB era, lots of possession, no end product and baffling subs. We are going to get battered by Liverpool.

Merson just summed us up perfectly. We spent 100 mill, and not one of those players can you say have had a 7 out of 10 season. More 4 or 5. Baldini has to take a lot of the blame

Even Wenger saying we'd played well...that;s a first, even though its easier to admit that when you've won.

Also said it wasn't the way they usually play but you have to credit Tottenham for that.

Certainly didn't have a game plan to let us have the ball!!

Eriksen has played well since change of manager and Chiriches was also promising enough. Lamela hasn't had much of a chance before getting injured and Capoue was mixed bag. Chadli, Paulinho and Soldado...

Just got back, Chadli is a ****, a few gooners will definitely think twice about wearing their scarves to WHL again. I don't condone violence, but when a wanker walks out from the Park Lane with a fag in the side of his mouth walking like he's Chuck Norris with his Arsenal scarf around his neck and then you see him 5 minutes later running to a police van whilst sticking it under his top to reveal finger and scratch marks on the back of his neck, you've got to have a bit of a chuckle.

Me too. The Alan Sugar era is returning. LVG will want a transfer budget before he agrees - which he won't get.

Historically he isn't known for being a grandiose spender in the transfer market.

Aside from the 09/10 season at Bayern Munich, his teams' spending has been restricted.

At AZ: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/a...1090_2006_default_default_alle_a_default.html

At Munich (10-11): http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/f...n_27_2010_default_default_alle_a_default.html

He has quite a reputation for promoting youth players.

Merson should also know that players need to settle. Wenger knows this. Most fans know this. Or should do. Baldini bought them. If they come good next season he should be praised. If they don't, then he can be blamed.

He's being generous, his team won the game and his defence nullified our attacks with ease. Don't fall for it.

As for Arsenal, how bad was Giroud? They've zero chance of winning the league with such a player as main striker.

Meh, we lost, but at least it wasn't 5-0.

Apart from the goal, Arsenal were meh, At least we had bit of spirit today. Not the greatest attacking threat ever, but better than recent weeks.

I didn't see all the game today, but I am not cry TBH, okay the result was shit, but I thought we at least deserved a draw and that is the first thing we have deserved for a while. Dominant, but didn't create enough, but at least the scum were not walking through us like a hot knife through butter every 2 mins.

Even TS, gets a day this time.

Shit result, but we put some effort in.

We had some decent chances, some thanks to Szczecny. Really shame Chadli didn't score.

We played well, great spirit and no luck. Of course we need that bit of super quality up front to unlock a good defence but general play, shape and spirit good.

I think everyone played well, particularly Townsend and Adebayor. Chadli even started ok- but faded.
