We reached fifth ten years ago, it's fourth where he has failed. Just as managers have made fifth but been sacked, so must the chairman go

We are so much better off with Levy at the helm than before he took over.

Since Levy has taken over we are disappointed at not making 4th.

Before Levy took over we were relieved to not get relegated.

I know which scenario I prefer.

I don't see how something we have attained very recently is unattainable?

Er Liverpool plus utd will find their mojo again and more importantly they will back their manager with serious coin and that is the game changer while Liverpool keep hold of their best players we don't.
I would say that is more than enough to keep us well away plus who would manage us.

We did play well, but two shots on goal out of seventeen is unacceptable. I just can't take any more losses to our rivals, and we still have Liverpool to come.

Our players showed passion and we looked good on the attack. But we lose again. Against the top 4 teams we have been taken apart, and I can't help but feel that is a fair reception of what we are this season, miles away from the calibre needed to get champions league.

Arsenal didn't have to play anything amazing to beat us, and we're are so wasteful again. I like Sherwood, I think he is good, but what we need is a man with experience, someone who knows the stuff, and that has to be LVG. Tim should stay and learn the stuff, but until we get organisation and character we will always get beaten by teams often our equal.

There is nothing special about us right now, and in the past 3-4 years we have been one of the best teams to watch, and surely the closest spark to break traditional power positions without major investment. Whereas now, we have nothing, and I know we played passionately, but honestly we are so far from being worth anything at the moment. God I'm depressed!

I thought we played well today. 4th is out of reach, but i just want us to put in the same effort and guile and general attitude we played with today. Went 1-0 down, after a game on thursday, but we came out and dominated the rest of the match. Bar the Ox chance, i don't think lloris had a save to make. Just in the attacking third we were toothless.

Oh so that was there game plan. Tosh mate, they don't go out to play like that, never have.

To be honest I can't believe the reaction in here, forum has gone way down hill IMO.

On the front foot for 95% of the game, Yeah we lack guile in the final third, but its been like that all season. Overall we were unlucky to lose the game, should of had at least a credible draw to show for our efforts.

I have never in my life seen such an agenda against one person - even though he's struggling, its quite pathetic in all honesty.
Well said. Scum have never ever played like that. And if that was there gameplay against a average side that we have, then wingers lost his marbles

If i remember correct you want him out now?

Makes sense i guess, just don't know who would be stupid enough to become our fourth manager i

If i had a quid every time i have read that on here when AVB, Redknapp and Jol were manager i could afford a new computer with a twenty inch monitor so i could write and post"

"Whats fucking new about that"?

Honestly, i dont think i've said i want him out now, i dont know what we should do. I would class myself as a BSoDL but he has fucked us this season. Honestly, i think keep him until the summer just to not piss away more of the money that we give the the club and then replace with someone experienced

Plenty of want, commitment and desire - 10/10
Absolute lack of craft, guile and creativity - 4/10
And therein lies the problem with this current Spurs squad.
Having spent over 110million - I'm at a loss as to how we spent it.
We wanted it more than the Ar$e - but they had the better quality players.
Are we a work in progress?
I doubt it.
I don't see the talent.
I also don't understand why Soldado is forever on the bench.
Te only time in recent months we've looked like scoring is when we play 2 up front.
Dim Tim waited too long to play that card (again).
Two up front increases our odds of opportunities.
Ade can work his socks off (in the wrong areas of the field).
We're just about the 5th best team in the league - more likely the 6th.
We need an overhaul (again).
We need a better manager (again).
Tiring being a Spurs fan isn't it?!
The difficulty with the overhaul (yes, I agree that there is bound to be one) is how much resale value we will get on some that we might move on in the transfer market.

We were not unlucky to lose the game. It is much the same as Utd v Fulham. All we did was bang the ball in to Ade and wished for the best. We failed to make the right substitutions and looked shaky at the back. If Moyes got hammered for those tactics against a team of clobbers, Sherwood should get much more stick for employing those tactics against a team containing a 11ft German international and a French international defender.

Yeah we were.

I can't believe the vitriol being aimed at Bentaleb on this site, it' disgraceful.. we have ayoung player come through the ranks & all people want to do is write him off as over-rated, well he's not & is still playing within himself & is capable of a lot more & that needs to be brought out of him to be braver on the ball because he's capable of it, If we had a style of play it would help, so don't knock a young lad making his way in the game,.. support him
It's what fans used to do for young player's.. now it's knock him, Pathetic

So how do you explain Lennon never being able to cross a football? No one in the last ten years has made him practice?

Pretty much. Beckham, VDV and anyone else who could cross well, have all learned to be that good through hours and hours of late training sessions. I doubt Lennon knows what the training ground looks like at 5 pm.

Sometimes I wonder what the point of debating is, we all see where the problems lie and yet we have no control over the crap that goes on in our club. I would not be surprised one little bit to see Tim Sherwood continue as manager at the club, because that's the kind of numbfuck decisions Levy does. Today we showed some passion and wanted it (exception of Jan, who looked like he could not give a fuck either way), but passion ain't enough and that goes all the way through the team....My mate said during the game that he loved tim sherwood and I was like wtf? He said he loved his passion....I said and what about anything else!!?? Seriously we are managed so shockingly, players don't know whether to go central, right, left...Who is giving them these instructions? Eriksen, starts left but is found everywhere, whilst no one is picking up the space he left. No one has defined roles in this team, No balance and no fucking clue and it starts with Tim and ends with him.Levy has to take the majority of the blame and right now I am not sure who knows less about football, Levy or Tim??

Argh i've just had the worst nightmare guys.

I dreamt that AVB had been sacked and replaced by Tim Sherwood, and he was playing an average teenager in the midfield!

Hows that Brazilian Lampard Paulinho doing for us? Lamela up for PFA player of the year?

Has Soldado wrapped up the golden boot yet? And hows the sexy man AVB doing?

Our managers are fucking letting the players down, not the other way around. You think Sherwood will give a game to Lamela when he gets back? You think Bentaleb will be dropped? Sherwood is a potentially bitter lame duck manager whose self-interest will dictate that he play certain players to make himself look good.

I'd honestly consider firing him if I were Levy. His player personnel decisions could cost this club a huge amount of money in depreciated assets. Appoint Freund caretaker with a mandate to play the new players all together and leave players who've shown us little end product on the bench.

That wouldn't stand up to critique in a kindergarten.

Sad that some people can still find a way to blame AVB for today's result. He was Levy's scapegoat then and some fans now. Unbelievable.
I don't get why you don't get that some people weren't happy with AVB, and also aren't happy with Sherwood? Why does it have to be one or the other?

We beat Swansea 3-1 with one up front. Number of strikers isn't the core issue
