This formation tom played today I think was too get players like lamela, soldado, up and running with the pace of the English game. If you look at the bench he as seem holby, chadli, already that have started too get there. Yes it will take time, and yes I say give the job too Tim

Have not been convinced by any decision today, but my word it payed off! Two nice looking fixtures next up in the premier league, and if we win those two, we could be heading to Old Trafford with some confidence and in the top 4. On small moments like these, a season can change.

I thought he was absolute trash - he lost the ball 95% of the time he had it. Unbelievable he wasn't taken off for Chadli instead of Lamela

Since when was Bentaleb so good? Controlled the middle of the field when he came on, and made Dembélé look like a chump.

There was a period in the second half where we were murdering them.

Still a little ring rusty but 'Best defence in the league' just got ripped a new one. Will have to settle for exciting winning football until we gel.

I am more in favour of Sherwood getting the gig than i was the other day

Gets the best out of Adebayor, not afraid to change things or take a risk, attractive football etc

Good call on Soldado and Ade though. As long as he does not play Ade and Defoe.... I could tolerate him... Although I doubt I will ever like him.

I'm more interested in the overall way we played as I,personally, have a check-list and he ticked quite a few of the major ones: players close together hunting and playing in packs and playing balls in between the oppo being the key two.

Lamela will get sorted out. He needs to be brought through in a team that is firing and confident, so today was a very good day overall as we'll be high as crack 'eds tonight and will bring that into the next game where I would start him again.
