He'd still need considerable time and I hope DL and JL see it that way. With potentially 6+ key first team signings it's going to take a very long time for the team to build up an understanding and genuine team spirit that's needed to win trophies. Hopefully the individual quality we would have would see us get in the top 4 this season though.

I suppose you could play Bale, Lamela, Willian and Soldando in the formation we currently deploy. With Lennon, Chadli and one of pauliho, Dembele or Sandro missing out (probably dembele in this case) but it's much too fantastical, like a real life Justice League

If we get both Will I am and Lamela on top of who we have already signed, then no one can complain and say that Levy has'nt backed AVB.

This is rapidly turning into one of the best transfer windows I can remember, and it's still not deadline day

On the plus though, once this window is over the rumours at work of my viagra addiction should stop.

I think I may be one of the most positive spurs fans and I believed we could get willian and keep bale even as of this morning. However getting willian, lamela and keeping bale after all our activity, even I can't believe. Would be un frigging believable. Let's all hope, or pray if that takes your fancy.

I want to reach Barcelona's level. Whilst the transfer window is fun; we have the capability to basically complete our squad for the next several years. By Barcelona's level I mean only making one or two additions maximum per window... It's imperative to have a tight-knit group who have a good understanding. We seem to have a basis for that which is good and too many wholesale changes is disruptive.

This has been an infuriating and frustrating transfer window for me personally in the last few weeks...

...with all these simply superb players coming in... I'm going to have to download a player update and restart my 10 season, Spurs - Football Manager career save! :banghead:
