Ali Z's info is eerily similar to what Diario AS and Marca were saying in their Spanish language sites this morning.
For me - this makes it less reliable - none of the three (the two papers or Ali Z) seemed to be clear on who exactly they thought they were negotiating with.
Maybe they faxed it over to them.
I've often wondered if I could just fax a counter offer to Real Madrid, how seriously they would take it.
Pretty sure I could type something up on fake headed paper and leak it to Marca.

Just to avoid any misunderstanding: Chadli is born in Liege and definitely french speaking of origin.
Watched my national team play against France yesterday and my gut feeling says we will bid on Alderweireld again as he was VERY impressive at right back against a certain Mr Ribery. Surely our scouts must have noticed that as well. There has been conflicting info from the ITK front on him, but still think he's a big possibility.

I think they should reduce the transfer window to one week only, and get all chairmen from Europe/World elite teams together in one hotel in Vegas...All deals happen in one casino if a deals not done there in one week, the window shuts again until Boxing day, when they get another week.

Verts is Flemish and Dembele Walloon.
Verts said when we first signed Dembele that even though he knew him from the national team, they didn't even speak the same language. I don't know about Chadli.

I believe that quote was about Hazard, Dembele is from the Antwerp area and he and Vertonghen were on the same youth team together. Vertonghen does also speak some French though, and Dembele probably does too, especially since his dad is from Mali.
