I bet its something really fucking stupid regarding Bale - like he won't be in the match day squad for Sunday.

It won't be anything definitive that's for sure. I'll be stunned if it is.

I am starting to get too excited about these signings! I have started to feel this strange sensation of optimism, but as I am a spurs fan it making me a little nervous!

Great to see the stamp and with the ITK that is coming through I am sure we will see it again- Maybe the gold record breaking one?!?!

As long as we get 3 points on Sunday then it all makes sense!!! And not some excuse it will take 3 to 4 games for the Team to gel aaaaaaagh!!

I think that's a given mate - nothing insightful regarding our club will come from SSN or fucking Swanson!

POTL re: Parker.

Scott will decide his next move today, won't be staying with us. Fee agreed with QPR- spoke to them yesterday. He will speak with Fulham today. Nothing agreed as of yet.

POTL re: Capoue:

As mentioned, this was complete last week. Waited until Hudd and Jakes moves were confirmed before announcing. I believe Capoue also mentioned he completed medical etc last week. Upgrade on Tom and Jake and will also give Tom Carroll a chance whilst Andre believes Holtby is a 6 rather than a 10.

Hmmm, if we actually pull off this Lamela deal and sign Coentrao and a new centre back then that would very nearly make up for selling Bale.

The signings we're making this summer are those of the quality I'd expect if we were bankrolled by a free-spending sugar daddy. Incredibly impressive work, even if bale goes.

The pre match press conference is today, isn't it? AVB will give some diplomatic answers, and the media will have an absolute wank-fest trying to interpret them.

POTL re: Capoue:

Hmm....regarding Holtby.

I can't see us keeping Carroll in amongst the squad if we are going for Eriksen. Still think Carroll would be best served going on loan to get consistent game time.

Remember though, Rooney and Suarez were both 'injured' but still played for their countries. Bale hasn't, so there must be some truth to the injury and not just us protecting him. Wales would surely not be happy at not being able to play him and I'm sure he would he disappointed to miss another international game.

This injury is extremely convenient isn't it. So obvious that we expect him to be sold.

I've been trying to stay optimistic but i'm struggling now...If he could train to some extent with Wales you sort of think the injury would be clearing up enough to be part of first team preparation... But fingers crossed that it is genuine, he's still a Spurs player and lets hope that's the case in 2 weeks time.

POTL re: Capoue:

Cheers for whoring Scutch (y)
I can't see how Carroll will be getting more gametime, even with Thudd, Livermore and Parker gone/going. We now have Sandro, Capoue, Dembele, Paulinho, Holtby and Gylfi fighting for 3 spots in cm. Unless Gylfi will be competing with Chadli for the LW position and won't be pushing for a cm spot.
