I'm even more convinced Bale will be here at least one more season. We got one more season out of Modric and Berbatov when the rumours were flying out of control. The most important thing now is to get him match fit. I hope he plays at least 60mins on Saturday.

Would you say that we are justified in scrutinizing the history of this or that ITK, especially when two ITK's find themselves in direct opposition?

I, and most other people, come to this part of the site in order to try gain an understanding of what is really happening behind the scenes at Spurs. In order to do so I think we have to approach some of the info critically, particularly when, as I said, one ITK offers a completely different take on events to another.

Mystery is just that - he 'could be' a big hairy gooner on a windup. Open wide here comes the teaspoon of salt.

If the mod-gods have verified him then I think, as rob said, any doubts about authenticity should be fed to, and clarified via, them and not the ITK, publicly.

We've had quite a few people do that before and it can be helpful but often there's a reasonable explanation, just one that can't be posted publicly without giving too much away.

I'm of the opinion that the club are actually very interested in selling to Real Madrid for a world record fee, and intend to make this happen.

Could well explain why certain ITK are saying Bales head has turned etc - they could have been misled to help us fans except the sale.

there are lots of bits that just don't add up. And more me the new contract, or lack of one is the biggest.

If he was happy to stay for another year, and there is a contract on the table offering him say another £50k a week then we would have signed it by now. He has had all summer to do so I imagine.

I think that's what Harry genuinely thought at the time tbf... Source may have been Ole Twitchy himself? :LOL:
