Over on the Soldado thread a new poster called 'Informative' has suggested Soldado will arrive at 1pm tomorrow.
He also shares a birthday with Joe Lewis, so is either:

a) Joe Lewis
b) not Joe Lewis

Has to be Danny boy making it seem like it's Joe Lewis.

Hi guys, I need a little help here please. I've been out all day and just quickly looked through this thread. Could someone please put up the link that confirms Bale has handed in a transfer request. I've checked the RO, checked the Official site.....................................even had a quick look up A&C's rear exit..................by the way mate, you eat too much red meat and there must be a better place to hide those dildo's so the wife won't get them. I quite like that glow in the dark one too (y).........................any way as I was saying, if someone can put up the link I'd be very grateful.

I would also be grateful if there is no link that some of you respectfully man the fuck up and get a fucking grip!!! We have a player on contract who (with quotes) said this earlier in the week:

Source: Daily Mail

Real Madrid are desperate to land the 24-year-old winger and are ready to offer around £80million to lure him to Spain.

The Spanish giants want to pair him with Cristiano Ronaldo at the Bernabeu under new manager Carlo Ancelotti.

But Bale has now indicated that he will be staying at White Hart Lane this season as Spurs prepare to break their own pay rules and hand him a new £150,000-a-week deal.

Asked if Spurs can reach the Champions League, Bale told Match of the Day magazine:
'Definitely. We all believe we can get into the Champions League otherwise there's not point being here.

'It's just a matter of going out there and proving everyone we can.'

As well as finishing in the top four, Bale believes Spurs can go even further and challenge for the Barclays Premier League title this season.

He added: 'We did a couple of seasons ago so there's no reason why not. We've definitely got a good enough team to challenge. It just depends on how consistent we can be.

'We're all looking forward to the season, hopefully we can improve on last season – I'm sure with a few more additions to the squad we'll be a lot better.'

Now I know things can change quickly in football and he has the right to change his mind/views but until he does and it's confirmed, either fuck off or just donate to the site and feel good about yourselves!!

I've just donated a tenner and it felt good...................................go on try it!!

i really hope bale doesnt go to madrid.....I can sense him becoming the next kaka over there. it'll be a waste.:arghh:
then it will be his choice, you sleep on the bed the way you lay it.

in all fairness, if we get the players we are linked with, i see us becoming a much better team than last year and bale might not repeat the same heroics' this season compared to last as our strikers were pants to say the least. If bale cannot produce that form next season his value wont be as hot as it is now.

The question, is bale worth another season to spurs than taking the reported 80m approx this season, well its DL choice to make and for me to keep supporting spurs for life. Spurs is for life and bale is for my short term pleasure (not is any randy ways)

your just 24.. at spurs your someone & loved

moving abroad & away from what your comfortable with it wouldn't take a lot for it to go sour especially with a young wife & kid moving right now

if you read this gareth time is yours still young fella.

I suppose you could say that he did the same thing and exposed himself to similar risks leaving Southampton at 17.

HOWEVER, if he thinks RM would put up with not winning in any of the first 20 odd games he plays for them, he is sorely mistaken.

If Bale does indeed leave for Real Madrid. There won't be any bad feelings towards him from me.

I personally think he is young enough to stay for another season. But I can't blame him if his head has been turned by let's face it the biggest club in the world.

It shows how far we have come in recent years that our top players have joined clubs like Real. I remember being pissed off when Barmby left us to go to bloody Middlesborough!

It looks like if he does go we will get a WORLD RECORD transfer fee. Its not as if he will run down his contract by making false promises then signing for free for out biggest rivals is it?!

Now that would be kick in the teeth.

If he goes. I will say thank you Gareth. He's been a class act and will follow his career in Spain.

Contradiction there, no?

Not at all, no.

We didn't want Jurgen to leave, certainly. But he was free, under the terms of his contract, to do so. And who could blame him when Bayern were in for him? He never had anything but kind words to say about Spurs.

It was amazing that he gave us that year at all - given that he was one of the superstars of world football and that we were a very ordinary club in what was, at the time, a very ordinary, backward league that was still recovering from the dark ages of the Heysel ban.

He was the first top foreign player to join the Premier League. Before him, there were mostly only Brits, Irish and Scandiwegians. Cantona had become a revelation after moving to England. But he certainly wasn't big news when he first joined Leeds.

Jurgen was the trailblazer. And I can still barely believe that, of all clubs, he chose to come to Spurs.

I am not sure people are aware about david pleat but not only does he act as an advisor to levy. He is one of our current european scouts. he knows the score at the club.

Rather interestingly there was a point last season with the backroom shake up where pleat was the only senior scout at the club!

But he wouldn't be involved with the financial side of things at Tottenham surely? Have no idea myself mate, just speculating :)

Thx for the info LLM

As a follower of yours I know what you think about our medical staff, do you really think Vertonghen will be fit sooner rather than later like AVB said ?
Cheers
