The grass is always greener on the other side, especialy when they arrive at a polygon of little men minus the snow! + SW11 1XJ and just before they see Bulls Cross!
LOL
Edit - PS this is a joke

But maximizing resale value comes from a player playing well and being wanted by other clubs to the extent that they will pay more money for him than we have done. There is absolutely no reason why this should inhibit us from gaining CL qualification. In fact it should enhance our chances. Has the purchase of Bale or Lennon or Sandro or Dembele or Lloris or Walker or Vertonghen increased or reduced our chances of gaining CL qualification? Aren't all of them worth more now if we were to sell than we paid for them? Compare and contrast Parker, Adebayor and Gallas, all of whom were bought as the finished article and to improve the squad. Did any of them increase our chances of CL qualification? In my view, No. They were part of the Harry Redknapp/Lawrie McMenemy ethos of buying top players at the end of their careers and stepping back and letting them play.
The idea being touted here seems to be that splashing a fortune on "big-name " players most of whom wouldn't want to play for us until we are in the CL anyway, will somehow ensure regular CL participation.
In my view the Club's task is the same as it always has been: to improve the squad by developing current players and also buying better players than we currently have who have more room to reach their potential. We haven't done badly on that for the last 7 or 8 years in my view.
Its surprised i didnt get more guesses they are all wrong! Noone even tried to solve it haha! And its an easy one! LOL

I thought I'd actually got one right. Oh well.
The cobra on The fighting cock forum:
Apparently Valencia gave Soldado's agents permission to look for other clubs weeks ago. Baldini and Spurs have been talking to them for two days now and have agreed players terms. It is now between Spurs and Valencia to work out final deal.

Said that Matthew Colle[co]tt and Baldini were in Spain to meet Valencia about Soldado AND another player.
So far seems legit... Lets see about this 'one other player' then!
