Since there have been some rumours from ITKs about this little lion I reckon that the club has been checking if he would come and that what is going on now is probably that there are bigger fish after him and the agent is advising him to wait... could still happen if he runs out of options I reckon.

Yikes. I still expect Lloris to happen but I'm not sure if its realistic to expect anything else... Feels like we dropped the ball a bit but we have done some good things over the entirety of the window. I am just not convinced we have done enough to really improve.

agree, am expecting Lloris only.. but we probably didn't drop the ball.. just couldn't agree terms within our wages and transfer budgets.

You don't agree terms with a club for a player only to not agree terms with player. Every pundit in the business will tell you club and player agree terms first, then the two clubs fight it out. Pleat said as much tonight (on the BBC)

think that would be an understatment, sell/lose your best players and bring in players in positions you need least, I like Verts and Lloris but pushing Dawson and Friedel out were hardly our weakest positions. come on guys is still time :sick:

I can only imagine that Levy won't attend the game tomorrow if he fails to pull off the Moutinho deal.
He'd be in for one hell of a negative reception if that happens following the sale of Modric & Rafa!

Are you for real? It was inevitable modric left but you don't sell VDV with anticipated backlash without ensuring a replacement is lined up. Not agreeing terms is unacceptable
