Yes, what is a loyalty bonus? If it's 5%-10%, and Rm have offered high 20's, him forgoing his bonus tips us over the £30m mark. Just about acceptable.

Thank fuck there was sarcasm in that POTL post, we would never of accepted that fee after all this time - it would of been totally mind boggling.

More like 33 million rising to 37 million I would guess.

If I was Levy here's what I'd do, and who knows, perhaps it is what he has done.

Accept £33m. But only take £23m at the time of the transfer. The clubs should then officially announce the fee as £23m + add ons. This £23m figure would hopefully help avoid us getting ripped off by clubs selling a replacement too us. When a replacement has been signed, the club announce that the add on was simply an extra £10m which was to be paid on October 1st (for example).

Problem solved.
