Apparently Roger Morgan has said Carlo is off to Watford.

Don't read SO, but apparently the quote was just "Carlo to Watford"

I posted in the ITK thread about an hous ago Roger Morgan's complete post which was in response to Dragon1's ITK :

'I think Rondon of malaga is more realistic.
Also carlo to Watford'

RM's post explains the many twitter reports re Rondon in the last hour.

Both Rondon and Carlo comments are interesting

I did ponder as to what possible input Freund may have in this - obviously quite a bit by the sounds of it!

I wonder, did he help develop Muller through Germany's youth side at all?

Someone will know.

Muller would be a fantastically useful signing.

And yet the Journalist called it in May? Also, what happened to Blanc being our new manager? Looking at your previous posts, your "ITK" is incredibly poor.

I think I'm going to come back when we sell modric. Getting linked to too many players at the moment.

You don't need to be a member to follow the transfer rumours section of the forum. Just take a look how many guests are online. Over 700 at the moment

From what I've heard of Rondon it sounds as though he's an absolute beast on his day, but extremely inconsistent. Seems his agent's been hawking him around to premiership clubs all summer, but if mega rich Malaga are willing to sell then he can't be anything too special surely?

Three goalkeepers are usually a pre-requisite for a season campaign, albeit one is usually an inexperienced youth/academy product.

In any case, this will surely be Brad's last season and who knows what the future holds of Gomes. As it stands, a viable opportunity to sign a top internationally rated goalkeeper in the prime of their life in Lloris doesn't come around too often so I'm all for pre-empting change at goalkeeper to fast track getting a great long term replacement in.

Absolutely agreed on the highlighted points. I'm just going on the knowns, and if Cudi's going to Watford Gomes must be No. 2, at least for the moment. Point taken again on the need to grab Lloris if he's available; I've got a couple of reservations about Lloris but I've not seen anyting like enough of him to form an opinion. If AVB reckons he's the man, I'm not going to argue; if we end up with Brad and Heurelho I won't be unhappy, though.

The rumour is that their sugar-daddies are refusing to pay off their debts so they've agreed to sell Cazorla and Isco. Don't know if they want to sell Rondon though.

Rondon is mahoosive. Decent scoring return. Anyone who has seen more of him think his game would translate to our team though? Also, pretty steep price.

I personally hope we don't end up with these two starting the season (as one and two) but its possible that Gomes might just get one last shot - with the reassurance of the trusty Friedel as the number two to step in if it goes pear shaped. Just have a feeling that we'll regret not really going for a top class number one this summer, if the aforementioned is the case.

Personally reckon Button will be one of the three 'keepers this season. Two of them to leave the club
