we just need a win .end of. dont care how i comes considering the players we have out but players like lennon and pienaar have to vital role tonight if we are to get anything. if jenas plays we are fucked imo so we need fellow midfielders to steop up and make up for him. it will be very physical, just hope we show some balls..any news on center halves!?

I predict in 4 hours time everyone will be on about us being title contenders again.

 Yep, hope we get that type of kneejerk tonight!

Good news if Corluka is playing, Hutton did well when he first came into the side but I think his form has dropped recently.

Corluka should start, Corluka works much better with Lennon than Hutton does. Also Corluka can defend.

Any chance he'll be starting as a CB? If we're light on CBs Harry might not want to throw Woody back in at the deep end.

Admittedly I have lost all grasp of who is and is not injured in the last few days, and have reached the conlusion that anyone with a detectable pulse is in with a chance.

We are down to the bare bones due to injuries, morale is very low at the club after the Fulham game and Levy's failure to invest in Jan, we have strikers who don't know how to score

I honestly fear we will miss out on a EUROPA place next season let alone CL

This is you, isn't it?

I'm nervous, excited, scared shitless and uber confident all in one. We're going to be hanging out the back of them tonight!

i see jenas mouthing off again ---

Jermaine Jenas admits Tottenham needs victory against Blackburn Rovers tonight.
All of Spurs' top four rivals won last night.
“It’s a very important game,” Jenas told the club's website. “Blackburn have been doing well over the last few weeks and we’ve had a few indifferent results.
“The point at Newcastle ended up being a good point, they are a tough team to play at St James Park, but we need to get back to winning ways and try to get back into fourth.
“After the FA Cup result - that knocked us a little - it would be nice to go there and make a statement.
“A point would normally be a good point at Ewood Park as it’s a tough place to go, but we want to win and we need to win to get back to winning ways.”

talk is cheap jenas. ur the master at it

bugger, I don't really trust the Charliemeister at CB. I'd prefer Woody even if hes not matchfit.

That said, I think Charlie should get another run at RB after Hutton's turdfest in the last 2 games. Charlie looked excellent when he came on at home against fulham, constantly making the right decisions and linking up well with lennon- he definitely deserves another chance.

i hope Sandro starts. Poor boy didn't deserve to be subbed last sunday.

so midfield of pienaar - sandro - wilson - lennon, with VDV behind crouch.

I think it has to be one of sandro/wilson + jenas. The two games we've started sando and wilson together we've looked absolutely woeful- we need someone like jenas to get forward and hopefully add some creativity.

Concussion! SPF and WTF!
I'd think the medical people would want him out for a week then.
WTF were we doing in training?

Looks like we're going to have an extremely makeshift lineup tonight then. I wonder if Harry will consider dropping VDV back into midfield and playing 2 up top.
