With all of the ITK and POTLs cryptic I put a call in and just got this back. Everyone a bit tight lipped at the club, which in his words "usually means we going for a biggy or very close". However he did get confirmation we are in for Suarez after Broomfields. reports, so calm down Nick not all is lost.
Diarra is still first choice DM, but Muntari is now on the radar as back up. I asked if Suarez not considered a biggy who is? he said " Not a clue, but there is money and Levy is ready to spend"
Still interest in Russian and French midfielders.
He also said Keanes move to Fulham could be on but Harry not happy if he plays in the cup. Still more loan outs to be done including Townsend.
Beckham is an insurance and length of loan thing, Harry wants 12-18 month deal, but secretly quite pleased at the moment because he is getting best of both worlds in that he is passing his knowledge, but doesn't take up a squad place. __________________

Suarez is the one we are after. Lukaku is a second option however Anderlecht want silly money.
Trying to do a deal for Pienaar. And like I said before Walker went to Villa we are still pursuing A.Young!
QPR want Townsend on loan but so do 3 or 4 other championship clubs.
Woody should also leave on loan very soon.
Becks deal still very complicated. Harry also interested in getting him in as a coach once his playing days are over!

He is an exceptional talent who you would think the management would want to get playing. Much like Rooney at Utd
Reminds me of the days of Davis Davies Davids only much much much much much much better.
The POTL info looks to be pointing at Suarez as it is definately an incoming striker from another capital city he is talking about - that with the links to Liverpool suggests to me that it's a veiled dig at the scousers.
I want he Becks thing over one way or the other. My guess is that we want until May and that is holding things up - especially given the LA fans running out of time for him just playing the odd game in 10. 48 or 49 in 4 seasons is not an amazing record so i can see their point.
Muntari has to be a no. I think this is 2+2 = £12m! He says IF he ever came back he'd want to go to London, jurnos think "he played for Arry, Arry works in London, Muntari to Spurs EXPLUSIVE!"......No thanks.
All other links seem to have cooled but i'm interested in this biggy that can't be mentioned - i would have thought Suarez was as big as we'd go.
Kaka did it last night too - maybe that's the hush hush signing (under your reasoning obviously) :wink:
