Just been told by somebody i know very well....that gareth bale told our management nearly 2 years ago or even three about the time we signed gunter about ramsey and he was indeed offered to us for 5 million pounds and we were going to buy him and he was looking forward to moving close to his mates at the time chris gunter and gareth bale but then commoli choose that we had to much midfield talent at the club and ramsey wernt going to be good enough.

Then arsenal caught wind off this and so did manchester utd and had a look at him and both clubs went in with an offer for him and aaron ramsey choose arsenal to be close to gareth bale who he gets along very well with and they now share an apartment in london somewhere and both are very good well grounded boys that behave . Also told that gareth bale has been working really hard on his defence and is really looking to prove himself now for a left back or left midfield spot he feels its now or never buts it very intresting to here people inside the welsh fa think his future will like as an attacking midfielder for wales anyways.

Dont know how true this is but just been told all this in the last hour .

From reports at the time Ramsay was an Arsenal fan and even though Bale and Gunter tried to get him to sign for us,he was never interested.

ramsey is far from average , he is a very good player and will be even better in the future. he's played in more fa cup finals and scored more champions league goals than most of our players at the age of 19.

i was with one of bale's close friends recently, and he was saying bale isa very profesional person. knows that defending is the weak part of his game and is working hard to improve. he also said that bale was fined by harry for the christmas party even though he was the only one who didnt go.

He's a class act. I wish he was english!

He will go on to be one of the best players in the world, I guarantee. It's wilshire that's overrated.

Aaron Ramsey doesn't live in London. He bought a house in Hertfordshire about a year ago, a few miles from me. A friend of mine sold it to him, so I know that for sure. As this friend is also a Spurs fan, she would also have known if Bale had been living with him!

I thought it was Bale and Gunter that shared a pad together in Chigwell. I think Ramsey will be a quality player unfortunately.

Nope, Gunter lived with Ramsey.

I think both WIltshere and Ramsey are over-rated right now, sure they have potential...darren caskey had fucking potential, jonathan blondel was the best teenager in the world, samir nasri was the new zidane.

Its all bollocks, until the player matures and proves himself playing first team football and 45 odd games a season he isn't more than the toe jam on my left foot.

I do think they will go on and be good players....at other clubs, Arsenal wont be able to keep them.

Ramsey has got big potential. His passing and eye for a goal out of midfield are quality at present and will only get better he also gets stuck in. Looking like he will be the complete midfield package reminds me of a young Stevie G only he'll have alot better coaching and will probably develop into an amazingly good match winning midfielder. Still a gooner **** though.

Not sure about Wilshere as I've seen very little of him but a couple of EPL teams are looking to loan him this month so it would be nice to get a good look at him. I think it was Owen Coyle was talking about trying to get him in but now with all the Bolton stuff we'll have to wait and see.

i have to agree with you , if he was not at the scum and over hyped by the press would we even have heard of him ? no

we have better players than him , lets focus on who with have rather than who we could of
