So according to Sky we made profit this transfer window of 7.8 million overall after all the coming and goings in this transfer window..

To be honest it just made me feel even more mugged off this morning than i did last night, although we did well to get the money we have for these wantaway players we should really have pushed that much harder to get the replacements in, i am now really concerned for us and cant see us qualifing through the league this year for europe.

If i were Ramos i would feel let down and gutted, he comes from a club in the Champions league to us with what i would imagine were lots of promises and then before he knows it he has lost his two star players with no replacments, (Please dont tell me Pav is Berbs replacment)..

I hope that he will not jump ship as well as it seems to be becoming quite a habit at Spurs in recent years..

Although all of this looks negative i do believe Levy has done a lot of good just really dissapointed in this particular window when so much was expected.

That said we as the fans need to get behind the team and show the amazing support that we always do and do our part, one thing tha will never change at Spurs is the passion that we show for our beloved team.

I respect Levy for what he has done, but he has turned us into a stepping stone club! Its a complete joke!! He has made a laughing stock out of this club, withdrawing his complaint against Manure just cos they bought him! And it seems quite obvious Campbell was a last minute deal, surely he is not the answer to our attacking problems?

I thought that Ramos took Saville into the Champions league.
We weren't in the Champions League when he arrived last season, were we?
With the exception of King, JJ and Lennon, the whole team has now been bought under Ramos.
Why the fcuk should he be feeling let down and gutted. Rome wasn't built in a day my friend. Ramos has just started the job he was signed to do.
Give the man the time he will need.

Paul Hawksbee on Talksport said we made a profit of £26 million, bit of a difference.

Pav is Berbs replacement - it doesn't matter how many times we say it - it's still true :)

of course he isn't likely to be as good as Berbs- but there are an awful lot of people on this forum and elsewhere who have spent an awful lot of the past two years slagging Berbs off - so shouldn't we clelebrate the fact we got Pav Bentley and Campbell in exchange (fees wise) for BErbs?

Supposedly we had a 40 million pound transfer kitty. Guess we were lied to.

We dont have to spend it all you know, if the right player was available at the right price im sure we would have spent it. Like we did with bentley, modric etc...

Would you prefer we spent money on a plan C like heskey? Us as fans would spend that money with our hearts and not our heads, levy doesnt do that, and as a result we are in a very good financial position. I would rather have the money in January and get the right players then.

It depends what you mean by that. Are we going to see the odd flashes of pure brilliance? No. Are we going to see the lacklustre couldn't-give-a-shit I'm-too-good-for-you-lot poncing about? No. We offload a posing petulant overrated prima donna for crazy money and people are complaining?

I don't think we've received any money for Gardner yet. Hasn't he gone on loan initially?

No the deal was made permanent a few weeks ago and I'm pretty sure they coughed up the money right away.

And what sort of logic is that based on? Your line of posting recently is getting very very boring.

At no stage has Levy said we've have to sell in order to buy. Then again he's not going to say, "actually Gilly ol' boy, don't give us too much profit on Berbatov, we only need £7.8 million to break even, otherwise some people will try and claim we're hard up on cash".

We sold two players that were worth a lot - it doesn't mean we needed to sell in order to balance the books.
