I thought our motto was " To Dare is to Do ?" we've done very little of that for a very long time mate.

It's pretty fucking daring to (potentially) do absolutely no recruitment for over a year, have massive injury issues & still allow players of the quality of Dembele to be sold when it appears there's absolutely no plan in place to rectify the resulting glaring hole.

''Oh you want money for him..?''

Levy hangs up.

Monaco sporting director: It would be a short term loan and possibly lead into a permanent transfer, something in the region of * begins to utter potential cost of the deal *'

Not sure it works like that
Said I Start to believe it's like that xD

We had X-cash during summer and if we use logic it should be X-money + extra (6 months) and still we aren't able to but the target pochetino wants.

If just ENIC open the wallet so we can take the next step

So, whom might we have a link now ?

I tried to sign this guy on Football Manager, but I didn't have the money for the transfer fee. So I asked Levy for some money. He said no. Realistic game.

"Enquiry"? Seems to be our MO these days. We've become the consumate window shoppers. We see something behind the glass. Admire how great it looks, go into the store, look at the price tag, and do an immediate about turn. Head home and count all the pennies in our penny jar.

Fwiw- unlikely we’d take any player on loan. Chances are they said they don’t want to permanently sell so we stopped interest there

Belgian reporter Kristof Terreur also reporting that we were interested, but ‘Poch vetoed the deal’.

Here we have a very talented young CM with loads of experience at the top level considering his age. Why are letting this one get away?

The only logical explanation is that Pochettino doesn't feel that he's a significant upgrade to what we already have. It raises some important questions: Do Pochettino really see Skipp as a direct replacement for Dembele? Surely Wanyama must be fit enough / over his injury to get back to his best? What kind of players do Pochettino see us signing if Tielemans is beneath us?

I would love to see Poch's full list of acceptable transfers.

This feels like when Martin Bain has a meeting with his recruitment staff in "Sunderland `Til I die".
"Why is Ibrahimovic name on this page. Have you found money somewhere?"
