will be interesting to see how he copes with our league, and whether our scouts are as moronic as we think or they're actually right on this one

Well if there is never going to be an option to buy, I don't know why we would be after him. He isn't going to come in on a 6 month loan, get up to speed, learn the system, and push out a development player like Winks or be a better backup than Lamela.

It is that simple.

I thought Jardim wanted the Leicester player Adrien is it, going the other way, if so job done for Leicester.
I have to admit I am quite enjoying deadline day knowing we aren't involved in it. So far Newcastle have bought a player Burnley are signing Crouch and Arsenal may have signed Suarez on loan and SSN have been spinning it like its the biggest transfer window ever.

But we are evolving and progressing. Continuously. Compare us to even 3 years ago. You and others don’t see the bleeding obvious. What is so important about the next 8 months? If we don’t sign someone it all falls apart? We self implode? ?
i disagree. we have not progressed from three years ago. something is holding us back and it’s probably the stadium costs. we are stationary and only just on the edge of dropping back or moving forward. and hopefully not signing will not cause us to self implode.

That's actually a fair bit of movement for the January transfer deadline though. They're going to talk about Newcastle breaking their fee record for HOURS.

Leicester are a couple players and decent manager away from a top 6 push next season, IMO.

well hes never gonna be better than lamela as he isn't that type of advanced player but winks totally comparable. Which is why it will be interesting to see if he adapts straight away and looks good.
all in takes is one injury to winks and we are lining up with 2 CDM players each week who can't really pass

FFS 3 years ago the stadium wasn’t even built. We didn’t have consistent CL qualification. So you are saying no progress at all? ?

I would have taken Tielemans and moved Lamela on in the summer probably a player would we get you 10 goals from midfield. Still young don`t understand our transfer policy.

I work on the principle our billionaire Chairman and the Manager that has got us consistently into CL places are not idiots.

I dont get this, Yuri is a B2B CM and Lamela is an AM/RWF. If we sold Lamela we would need to replace him with another AM/RWF player. Yuri would be a Dembele replacement.

They have a decent manager, they just need to listen to him and not allow Vardy to influence their thinking.

And after all the effort in getting Adrien Silva they let him go on loan on exchange...

I think he's a decent enough manager, but there are definitely managers out there who could get more out of that squad.

I do like Puel and he has had some really good results - notably Chelscum, Shitty and should have really beaten Liverscum.

Southampton were morons in letting him go
