I think people will be shocked by what a new, capable manager will mean to our club. To me, bring in LVG and everything else is gravy. We've got a shit ton of talent on this squad and I truly believe that. Yes, we have some holes we need to fill with some additions, but the biggest need that we have is a manager capable of getting his tactics across but also able to influence matches with intellect and proactive (not reactive) substitutions and changes.
But what about someone who can get the lads to "roll their sleeves up" though?

Important not to make too many changes next season.
I reckon we'll see better form and consistency from our Bale signings.

Three signings maximum to come into our strongest 11.

I just don't understand this line of thought. Why limit ourselves to three players if we need more than three to complete the squad.

I'd say we need a first choice left back and left winger, a backup CB, another forward to compete with/partner Ade/Soldado, and if we have the luxury, then a creative midfielder as well.

and who is going to buy our fringe players at Levy prices? You can't just bring in all those guys without selling a lot of dead weight.

Can we stop playing this stupid sort of game? They're a waste of forum space and they're not even 'laugh-at' funny. Go and play your computer games, there's a good boy.

I guess Lloris & Vertonghen would want out;

I would sell Gylfi, Naughton,Chadli, Paulinho,Capoue,Lennon & Townsend if we get a decent offer

My Squad

GK
Asmir Begovic (if Lloris leaves)
Maty Ryan (Australian GK we had on trial now impressing at Club Brugge )
Jordan Archer

Defender
Vlad Chiriches
Younes Kaboul (hope we extend the deal)
Michael Dawson
Winston Reid (really underrated IMO)
Ben Davies (Swansea)
Kyle Walker
Danny Rose,
Zeki Fryers

Midfielder
Sandro
Dembele
Eriksen
Holtby
Bentaleb
Lamela
Veljkovic
One proper winger valuation around 20m (Kevin De Bruyne from Wolfsburg or Lallana if possible?)
One proper deep lying playmaker like Hernanes

Forward

Adebayor
Soldado
Jordan Rhodes
Kane

By that logic the forum itself is a waste of forum space lol. Why discuss any of this stuff, aside from wanting to?

I think we can sell quite a few. Not for that much money but I'm sure we could sell 5-6 for pretty decent money.

We got to sell,simply because our squad is overloaded with average players who create imbalance in squad; Too many "nearly wingers" & too many "nearly CMs"; Chadli, Gylfi,Lennon,Townsend all average;

I think Chadli can definitely be a useful squad player and even if he's not superb, brings a lot to the table. I still think he will prove to be a pretty good purchase.

Townsend, Lennon, Gylfi, Rose, Dawson, maybe Dembele or Paulinho I think we could let go.

Two total wingers and three LB's? Come now mate be reasonable. Townsend is 22, English, pacy, ambidextrous, and a Spurs fan. He's only looked "average" in his performances in our rather stagnant offense. He alone won't be going anywhere, and I can assure you we won't be clearing out our entire stable of wingers.

just read paulinio is frustrated but thinks the language barrier is a problem.He actually said he is a lazy learner. In other words cant be arsed to learn English. This is what gives todays footballers bad names.Also read Soldado is having extra lessons to become more fluent. new ins - Shane Long. (good back up) Luke Shaw (20m take it or leave first day of window). OUTS - Paulinio. lennon.

As for as Andros, I dont mind him staying as squad player but I cant see him making XI consistently;

I clearly want us to play 4-3-3 with wing forwards than play with exclusive wingers in 4-4-2;
Getting DeBruyne would mean Eriksen, DeBruyne, Lamela all can play there;

And keep so many & do what ? Didnt we suffer one season with such averageness ?

Get 3 players who can make the XI and trim the squad; Given we aren't going to get into Europe (by look of things), why have such a massive squad ?

Lets learn from Liverpool; They just have a neat squad of 17 & rest are academy lads

They have been pretty fortunate with injuries this season, whilst we always seems to carry a lot, so the deeper squad is need and great to have.. You're also saying get rid of 3 new players we just bought from last summer, give them time and the one season to fully adjust.. Also speaking about averageness, the players you have mentioned to bring in are exactly that, average

I like Lennon, but I think he needs a change of scenery. He'd thrive at a mid-table club like United and I suspect Levy would fancy his chances of rinsing them for a lot more than what he's actually worth in today's market.
