About 0% we’d pay 60m for 28 year old Carrasco. That seems wide of the mark, although maybe Newcastle is desperate enough.

Yes, actually — he’s been playing great as an inverted LWB for Atletico. Not suprised to see us interested, he’d fit Conte’s system very very well.

Yeah, this was my thought too. I think he's played there for Belgium as well, but of course, Roberto Martinez would play anyone as wingback.

Edit: I thought he was younger than 28, though. Time flies.

I used to like Carrasco a lot ngl, still remember him slapping up Arsenal in champions league

He has a release clause of 50m (don't know currency) that we and Newcastle "are willing" to trigger. Could be 100% agent bullshit.

He's predominantly right footed so I think he'd excel as a RWB in our formation where we need width (given lots of bodies in the centre). Would be unfamiliar to him though so would take half a season and pre-season to get used to it I'd imagine.
