With any lucky his njury woes are behind him. Let's not forget he played plenty of games for Boro (ok it was a short spell) and Leeds, it's that gap between where it all went wrong for him whilst at Newcastle and Madrid. Perhaps he is overcoming an injury curse that began up there.

Really annoyed me pre-Portsmouth game on Sky Sports, the panel having a dig at Spurs again (as per) but one of the digs about the defence was that King never plays and how Woodgate hasn't been ever-present either!? They also then suggested that Ramos wants to sell Keane, hence him keep taking him off.

I have to hold my hands up here. I was absolutely opposed to us signing Woody - to be honest, I thought the only reason for buying him was to keep Ledley company in the treatment room.

How wrong can you be. Not only has he stayed fit, but his work on the ground and in the air, his anticipation and positioning is quite awesome.

I was totally wrong.
