Hmmmmm, not sure if he is the one - that may depend on who comes in during the summer - but I am fed up with no 'leader' on the pitch, though

He's played fairly consistantly for us this season, missed only one match that i can recall (might be 2?) through injury and that was after the 120mins of the Carling Cup final, where a lot of players were rested.

let see if he can get through this season and half of next as i think its a bit early for him and it may put a few noses out of joint if he was made captain this season.

He still has to a little ways to go, but he is on the pitch--which would be an important part of being the captain...

I'm surprised that no one has voted "no" yet...

Jamie Ohara. He's got a working gob on him.

If he didn't have his own injury problems, maybe. But I think another injury-prone captain is pointless. Keep Keano as stand-in for now.

i would like to see it happen, i would have him captain over keane anyday, but i doubt ramos will upset the applecart

I'd happily see him wear it after King more than any other player currently at the club.

What, in King's absence? Well, it would take that weight from Robbie's shoulders so he can focus on scoring although I don't think Woodgate has proved himself enough...

i would expect ramos to keep it has it is.jol spoke more than once about how much of a leader keano bacame once he got the job and ramos has also said good things about him.as for ledley when hes fit hes number one for me every time.woody could do the good job and i think he would be a good choice after keane, hes the type of player every one looks up to and the way he plays demands respect.

yeah i think he would be good if king is not playing robbie does a good job all the same and he can just put all his energy on scoring goals

If he continues to prove his fitness and leadly can't do so next year then yea def best choice IMO. Robbie is a VICE CAPTAIN BUT he is acting as our permenant captain at the moment with King out so often and that isn't what you want. If Zokora was a better player I'd say he could take the armband, ver determined and organizes the team well.

As a short term solution maybe. But it is evident that the cm that we crave should have the leadership qualities that are needed to drive the team to the next level.... For example Lucho Gonzalez!!!

If he can play through to Xmas consistently then I'd definately say yes!
