we were very lucky, but getting through was what was important.

Better that then if we had played great but gone out through bad luck.

Heres hoping things start to get better soon.

sounded liek we were good in the first half, poor in the 2nd half, then shit ourselves when they got 1 back

More the other way round really. We had a good spell in the first half of the second half, which was when we scored. Apart from that, another truely average display.

the last 15 minutes we defended like idiots if u ask me. Sent men forward instead of defending the lead. Losing the ball in dangerous places. Dawson came on in the end and saved us a couple of times.

tremendous result - well done to everyone at Spurs

when we only beat them 2-1 I thought we were going out of both them & Toon - to have got through those two ties - absolutely brilliant

I saw the last 20 mins, and I didn't jump any lights on the way home.

Oh, we looked really poor again and were hanging on, Wisla were unlucky not to win easily.

Gary Preston is a shit commentator. We played terrible and I honestly see no passion coming from the lads. But the main thing is, is that we're through.

Bring on Hull and jesus christ do I have my fingers crossed.

Man of the Match, if any, would have to be Gomes. Now thats someone I love to watch... the passion he shows, when we score (awesome celebration when the goal went in!) and the emotions he shows is what passion is all about... Good, solid saves as well... goal wasn't his fault, defenders should of done better.

That was grim, no real cutting edge and many unforced errors again, Modric came off and it all went tits up.

MEMO to Ch.5 Please don't use Graham Turnip anymore - He is a plonker.

But the result is all that matters !

To be honest, I figured that we'd screw it up so it's credit to the lads for getting through to the group stages regardless of the quality of performance.

The more games we have this season, the better we'll be for it so that we can find our form and develop a style of play that suits us.

Job done

Aye, I'll be devastated if Campbell doesn't start up top with Pavlyuchenko on Sunday. I've said from the beginning it'll be the best combination, it's still looking that way.

Looked very nervy and short on confidence in the first half, nearly went behind twice just before the whistle. A lot better at the start of the second, put some good moves together. Ledley and Woody had some communication problems. Some good saves from Gomes (one absolutely top-drawer), also a couple of OMG moments. Dead ball delivery dire. Absolutely fantastic tackle in the box from Daws.

Odd decision by Ramos to take Campbell off. They looked groggy and I think we could have hit them with a second.

Not being funny but Wisla are no mugs, they are usually in the champions league each season and are the polish champs so it was ALWAYS likely that we'd be hangin on at the end with the score as close as it was....that's a given so shouldn't be a surprise to anyone!

The main thing was to get through, hopefully against Hull we'll set up 4-4-2 and give ourselves a chance to score some goals!

Ramos made us a joke again, let alone still not using Giovani instead of his crap team selection, I'm really shocked about his subs, he made it very diffcult for us. We were 2+ goals advantage after 1-0 lead, and we were good in 2nd half, Although i don't like O'Hara for Campbell ? OK, I understand that.

But Huddlestone for Modric ? it was a great invitation for them to attack. Then Dawson for Lennon, that's exactly 5-4-1 ( all of the middle are DM and CM !! ) .. against average team !! what he would do in extra time if they scored 2-1 in last mins after invitation like that.

looks like he would like to sacked, I'm really shocked !!!

It was by no mean great some soem of the comments are a little harsh.
The last 10 mins made it look like we didn't deserve a thing out the game but we could have been 3 up before they socred really. Zokora and bent both had good chances from good bits of play. I think we deserved a draw on that showing.

Relatively well done lads

Aye. Especially after the Zokora chance. If it was Jenas there with the ball, Campbell would have been played through on goal for the second, no doubt about it.
