Probably in the 90 percentile of likelihoods. I didn't really care if we signed a wide forward going into this window so I wouldn't be bothered if we didn't sign one coming out of it.

No media has picked up on the "bids accepted" by us and Chelsea. There is no way it would remain a secret from them this many days since we got the ITK.

Im starting to think a lot of the ITK's info they get passed is coming from club PR channels now. This is not a dig at any ITK but a reason why we may hear amazing things and then nothing happens.

Im still praying Zaha comes off but it looks as likely as Messi coming to Spurs atm.

Didn’t Herc say that he was as close to the top of the chain with this one as anyone?
Pinch of salt, etc but it’s rare for an ITK to be so candid about the level of their info and if it’s from that close then I doubt it’s PR bullshit.
Although I’ve read so much ITK and random crap on here that I can’t remember what Herc has actually said about the Zaha deal recently...!

I think you need to look at the nature of the beast. An ITK is (1) a fan (2) mostly likely operating off second hand information. This creates a scenario where even if ITK are genuine they get excited and report stuf as soon as they hear it, but the nature of football is that things change from day to day, hour by hour.

From what I can see JJ hasn't said this isn't a goer and Zaha hasn't signed for Chelsea yet. So in my mind that means there is still a chance we might sign him. A small chance. But still a chance.

In fact, I think this it is all linked to the Toby to Man U deal. We're using it as a carrot to try and force them to sell us Martial. This seems to be ongoing. If it gets the point that it definitely doesn't look like happening then I can see Levy biting the bullet and over paying for Zaha. Just a theory but I feel like there is a connection.
